I was very surprised to see the "rivalry weekend" email a nc foozball contributor received begging folks to buy bouncyball tickets for this weekend!!

Bu-bc rivals?!?

Here I thought we were an also ran afterthought?!?!?

Your REAL rivals were north Dakota and duke!! :p no?

BC fans: You better get on Jake O'Brien at the bball game tomorrow. Dude went to BC High and then to BU. That's the cardinal sin to you people right?

Should be a good game tonight. This bad stretch by the Eagles really show how valuable Wey is to the backline. He's one of the most underrated players in the league, IMO.

of course y'all will win 14-1 tomorrow night. then 13-0 in the beanpot 3rd place game if nu gets lucky against you. then probably 8-0 & 14-0 in the hea quarters that'll be up at ****e. yuck!

That was the worst BU-BC game I've ever seen in my life. I think this trumps BC's 9-5 win last year. Bad refs (yes BC fans...that goal should have counted in my estimation), dirty play and diving, stupid play and passes. A gazzillion delays. It was like a 5 hour Red Sox-Yankee game. Millan was out of this world so then the BU skaters just stopped to watch? Way too many risky passes. Noonan is clueless. All those late penalties by BU? It was like they wanted BC to tie it up. Cisse has a nice goal and Hohmann scored on a nifty play. The rest was a bunch of bunk. I've never been this annoyed after a win in my life.

This kind of smacks of the 2006 season match ups. BC controls play but BU manages to scrape out a win.

Oh well. Hopefully tomorrow brings us better hockey and refereeing.

He hasnt played in two years and I am sure BC had no recruiting interest in him

Yup. BC has lost a lot of games over the years - or seems to have - just like today. Outshoot 45-13 or whatever and lose 5-3.

You can say that the ref shouldnt have blown the whistle but since he did you cant say the goal should have counted.

The puck was in the net before the whistle blew. You easily could have reviewed the play and called that a goal seeing no goaltender interference.

That call was horse**** that was only outdone by the disallowed goal against Notre Dame.

We have someone from BC High coming here to play football. I let him know I'm glad he won't be a Double Eagle :)

Thanks for the scouting report. Any thoughts on John Holland or Tunji Awojobi for us?

I see NU is playing Old Dominion tomorrow. Any thoughts on how Reggie Lewis and J.J. Barea stack up against the Monarchs?

I know it sounds dumb but its not when you hear the whistle sound on the replay. The ref started the process before the goal was in, in his mind. Who are we to get inside his mind?:D
