Was it worse than the too many men call at Northeastern? (That had to be the worst call I have ever seen in Hockey East…Harry Amian had worse calls in the ECAC….absolutely nothing had to happen for Amian to call a trip…like not even someone falling down for Amian’s arm to go up)

POTY is for Hockey East games only so it has no bearing on having an advantage for the Hobey. Leading your team to the Hockey East championship and then to the Frozen 4 will also factor in besides non league stats.

Webber didn't practice yesterday and I don't expect to see him on the ice tonight. Not surprising that his ankle blew-up the next day. Better to get him healed for the NCAA's.

I thought I heard that UMass was 80% in tournament even with a loss so this actually could knock their seed down to a #4. The worse news is it looks like everyone else is playing for runner up for the NC. With Perreault back this BC team looks unstoppable no one has close to their firepower offensively. Upsets happen in hockey but they are a very clear favorite, epic season. Thinking of BU 1995 31-6-3 team. If the FR three all come back its is going to be just as dominant next year.
 
Yeah…I’m thinking maybe we should just lose to Maine and hope we meet BC down the road. At least it will delay the inevitable and maybe by some miracle someone else will knock them off. (Ok, a little sarcasm but that was scary)

UMass dropped to 14 with the loss. AHA, CCHA, and ECAC autobids will result in UMass being the first team left out. Quinnipiac losing was the death knell for UMass. Good for you guys as you'll stay in Springfield. Would have been good for Hockey East to have 4 teams in, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
