Gauthier is a slam dunk for Hobey coming back for another year paid off for him and BC big time. BC is a heavy favorite for the NC imo, in a one and done anything can happen but no one has their offensive firepower complimented with a strong goalie. They toyed with UNH even missing Perreault and then when it counted finished them off.

Igles were 5-1 favs to win in the London sports book mookie visited this week. (Terriors 6-1)

Thanks the time difference messed me up but I was listening to the game to the last seconds. When I fly back Saturday I will obviously regain 6 hours

Anyone else feeling the hot breath of North Dakota on the back of their neck? Wouldn't take much to drop to #3.

It could happen this weekend. A quick check of the PWR predictor has them moving in front by a few RPI points if they both win 2. Obviously a loss by either team would have a big effect. The probability matrix also has ND more likely to finish at 2 than 3 by a slim margin (47% to 39%). I think if we won out and beat BC in the HE championship, we likely get 2 at the end. We are virtually guaranteed a 1 seed somewhere, however (98% probability)

Hey kids. It's game day!! Anyone making the trek to Providence? I'd have to leave around 3:00 - it's raining so traffic would be horrific. So I'm going to watch it instead. Here's hoping the bye week did help those players with injuries.

Gallagher has been practicing and Pandolfo says he's good to go tonight. Also said Peterson is "progressing well" and is day-to-day. Hopes he can return for the QF game on the 16th. Mark Divver just posted that Peterson was doing some skating with the team at Schneider this morning.

No Case McCarthy or Luke Tuch tonight. That seems strange. Jay said they would go full at it tonight - no taking it easy these last 2. Injuries? I would doubt it’s discipline related. Just coach’s decision?

Are they going to play themselves out of a #1 seed???

I don’t really think that’s possible, but that period needs to go into the garbage can. That was certainly a tale of 2 periods. Need to come out hard in the 3rd. That was ridiculous on many fronts.
