Can anyone who was at the game comment on anything?

Briefly...

Freshman talent looks good overall... I think should develop well. Depth at forward is my biggest concern (even though I think the third line scored in every game so far). Both goalies looked solid.

Should improve as season goes on but for now I think we will struggle against the top tier teams.... But as Quinn said, it is nice to win games as we develop.

Well, if its any consolation (it's not), BC's attendance today was not much better.

Student turnout was pretty weak, but going against the pats is never a good idea.

So then.... What's the issue? Did someone poop in public or something like that?

BU was in the same boat with the Sox playoff game going on at the same time. It even forced the radio feed to an internet stream only.

Re: BU 2013 Offseason Thread - Bring on the Mighty Quinn

So let's set a goal for this season right now. Don't lose to Harvard, Bentley, Uconn, Umass, and Northeastern. That would be a good place to start.

So I though I had included Holy Cross in that list so I was going to say 2 down and 6 to go but I guess I left Holy Cross out of the must win list. That leaves them with 7 more must win games. Now obviously they need to win more than just those games, but I want see BU take care of business this year and beat the lower tier teams before worrying about trying to win every game against top level teams and looking past the teams with losing records (although don't look now but NU is 2-0 :p). Either way, they may not have blown anyone out this weekend like some other teams, but they got 2 wins and really that's all they need right now. Next weekend is going to be tough so I'd just like to see them compete and keep it close in both games. A split would be great and an undefeated weekend would really have to make you raise your expectations for this team. Hopefully Wisconsin is only concentrating on BC right now and BU can either catch them overconfident from a win at BC or reeling from a blowout loss.

The team is also guaranteed another NU or Harvard game on the 2nd Monday in February, so now you can up your count to 2 down 8 to go. However, you'd be hard pressed to find a college hockey team that goes 10-0 against the worst 10 teams it plays in any given year.

It's obviously being covered up and paid off. What else does Jack Parker have to do now that he's retired.
