Misleading news report was sent to the head of the BU task force. Familiar name, but not a Terrier.

Feels like a real opportunity for a Scooby Doo type script for this season. You know things start going wrong, lights go out during games, players go missing, then a monster shows up at Agganis to terrorize everyone. In the end they catch the monster only to find out it's Parker in a mask and he was trying to sabotage Quinn's firsts season as head coach because he didn't want people to forget about him.
"Let's see who the monster really is."

Given the timing of Gill's departure, one wonders if it was truly his choice to leave and/or if there were other factors in the mix.

Gill is holding down the third line center slot for the Nailers, who open their season tonight. Wheeling's coach is Clark Donatelli, who was a wing on BU's top scoring line (174 points) in 1985-86.

I would imagine there is a difference between wanting to coach a national team tournament vs wanting to go through the long grind of a college season.
