BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Okay, so who's gonna be in St. Paul Thursday afternoon? I'm at 90% that I'll be there right now...

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Kudos to Dan Bakala!! Huge series for him back to back nights with 40 or more saves. Thats huge for bemidji to go into the final five with a red hot goalie!

As a UNO season ticket holder since Day 1, I will honestly say that Bakala's performance in goal against us in the 8 games going back to last season against us are EASILY the best I have ever seen by an individual goaltender against us. It isn't even a contest. I imagine it will take some time before we have anything to compare it to around here.

Begrudging props.

That said, we really can't wish you luck. We turned you into TUCs again. And, we certainly don't want you in the NCAA's at OUR expense. So, please don't win any more games.

Sorry for the backhanded compliment. It's the best we can do right now. We're a little bitter.

Here's what Dean Blais and company had to say:

Congrats to you for screwing up our season. We might very well have won the WCHA if it weren't for you guys.

I hate green. I'm painting my grass this summer another color.

I was planning on it, until I remembered that friday its a registration day for incoming freshmen and I have to work it.

Hopefully I will be able to get off work early thursday afternoon to catch it on FSN!!

Wish I could make the games, but I can't get the day off on Thursday...... Guess FSN will have to do............ :(

Congrats on your big road sweep. Very impressive. Bakala must have been in his UNO trance again. Unreal performance.

Paint your grass a nice shade of Maroon.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

So is there anyway we can convince UNO to mail their jerseys up to St. Paul so any team that plays BSU can wear them :)

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Congratulations on your win on Thursday. Those were some sweet one timers your team had during that game. Best of luck in your next game.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

One year out of the CHA and look at you guys... way to go!!!

To heck with the regular season... your guys know when to perform!

Well, Douglas, I may have sold my soul to the devil. I made a deal with Geof to give good mojo UAH's way in the Basketball Elite Eight for his good mojo the Beavers' way in the WCHA Tourney.

I Still Hate Huntsville though! :)

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Well, it looks like Tyler Scofield's and Rob Sirianni's season may be over with there teams due to injuries.

Rob suffered a broken lumbar vertabrae in the clinching semifinal win for his Italian team. Sounds like he is shelved for three months.

Tyler suffered a concussion in his semifinal playoff series with his Austrian team.

Best of luck in the recovery process to both of them.

Sounds like a fair trade to me... I'll even add a little more mojo to his... you know the terms!:D

Hey, I'd expect nothing less... and I still have the t-shirt... I wear it when I change the oil in my cars.;) Baby blue flatters me...

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Nice effort by your guys today, they just seemed to run out of steam in the 3rd. See you on the ice next season.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Nice run by the Beavers. We were in a spot 8 other WCHA teams would have like to have been.

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

Now the big question for today . . . who does Read sign with? MN Wild, with Zucker (DU), and Rau (down in Houston)?

Re: BSU '10-'11: Can the Beav's Read the W and be in the Hunt?

The first BSU fan I witnessed today in St.Paul today was wearing a camoflague hat. You're sure not helping the stereotype.
