Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

That is why it was a question?
I'm not going to argue to just argue, especially when the only thing holding up your side is hearsay. I’ve been taught the people who find the need to constantly defend themselves are usually the ones trying to cover something up. It’s just odd how many people actually heard a very one-sided version of different alleged events.

I've got nothing to cover up (at least as far as this thread is concerned  ). Check my posting history going back 4 years. I have a wide variety of hockey interests and play nicely in the sandbox with the folks who have been around a while. Occasionally I pop into a hot topic like this one, although I have to admit, this is the most involved I've gotten in one.

We don't even have hearsay here. All we have is innuendo.

The problem here is primarily the source of this rumbling. Please note that all of the significant "fire the coach" rhetoric has come from posters who have over 90% of their posts specifically in these threads, yourself included. I think y'all would have a lot more credibility if you didn't come here for what appears to be a hack job.

Yeah, you need to be more like me and spread your dim-witted sarcasm and cynical views over a wide spectrum of topics, sometimes even including those you know absolutely nothing about! THAT'S how you gain credibility! :D

Haven't you figured it out yet. How the aging Kookie gets lambasted on the boards and finally figures out she needs someone younger with more game to carry on her diatrabes and enlists a starving college student to do her dirty work for a fee.

I had that nailed 10 pages ago. C'mon guys keep up willya!

Actually, I think cookie may not be as old as she leads us to believe. The past several pages, I've alluded to my suspicion that she isn't who she pretends to be, as she has a very strange objective (getting 2 players back on the roster or getting Digit fired), which would indicate that perhaps she is a disgrunteled former player. She has not addressed this and seems to be lying low with regards to this.

And the shark seems to have swum away! What fun is there in that?

You keep trying to argue specifics that you have no right in doing so. You don’t know Digit well nor do you know anyone at Brown, what’s substantiating anything you’ve heard.

I do know a lot more than you on certain said topics, but that’s still not the point. I’m not trying to say what did or what didn’t happen. All I’m saying is there is a great lack of respect for any of the players involved to have to deal with complete strangers passing judgments and spitting out stories as if they were involved.

Exactly, we're capable of ignoring all other threads but this one. Why can't you just ignore one?

I hate too disagree cause it gets better...Kookie's brother Daryl (IrishBirdie) and her other brother Daryl (blackwidow) have been no help to her whatsoever...dead from the shoulders up. Not to mention the husband (zero zero 7) who not only is an embarrassment to the family due to his postings but as well every literary class in the country...has been well...a disapointment to her at best. No she is a parent of some poor kid on Brown...no-doubt and she has the family check book at the ready. Just don't know whether the new ghost writer for her gets paid by the word or the post. Still working on that one but I'll let you know my findings.

How many times do I have to explain? My purpose here is dealing with ccookie79 and her unscrupulous agenda. You just happen to be doing her bidding (whether unwitting or not is unimportant) by spewing out the same "coach sucks, fire her" and "doesn't treat her players nice" argument that plays right into her hands.

I'll take you back to your "morals" theme. If the end (of getting rid of Digit) justifies the means (parent of a player or someone pretending to be a parent trashing the coach), how can you justify your posting here that is feeding this agenda? Unless you believe Digit should go and you don't care how it is done. Then I do question your morals.

Yeah, like I said before whether or not Digit is fired it has little affect on me. I just place common decency up on the same pedestal as practice what you preach when it comes to coaching.

The only people gossiping are people who don’t know the details or kids involved and find themselves somehow in the coaches’ loop. Parents at the Brown games have heard less about certain things than people living out on the west coast of Canada.

5 4 fighting, you've already been esposed as a parent so back off and let Digit do her own bidding - or does your daughter get more playing time when you suck up?

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

... as she has a very strange objective (getting 2 players back on the roster or getting Digit fired)

I may have missed something here, but I don't think that she is talking about two players, but the eight or nine who were on last year's roster who were eligible to return but are not on this year's roster.

My Daughter gets more playing time for being aggressive on the puck, heavy on the forechek/backchek, getting apples and geno's, buying into the coaching staff's program and above all ...being a team player.

Oh and it wouldn't hurt to mention she doesn't have a parent/posse trying to get the coach fired through a public forum....I'm pretty sure that helps...

and it's X,,,it's exposed.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

Every time I decide I’m just about done posting about this subject, I open up my User CP and find another rude anonymous message.

And out of nowhere it’s like I’m completely revitalized ready to argue for hours again. It’s the strangest thing.

Re: Brown - Oops! They did it again.

I’m not certain, as we all know the only thing worse than my grammar is my reading comprehension, but I think the last message I received went something like, Oh hcky85, I love your cynicism and your most knowledgeable quotes. Please keep them coming so I can continue to do some more soul searching on this journey of self-enlightenment that you have lead me down.

There was no name, but I'm guessing this came from you notfromaroundhere. So here's some more food for thought.

"Many a man's reputation would not know his character if they met on the street."

"A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both."

"Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."

Pay the $14.99 and they won't be annonymous!
