Re: Bring Out Your Dead (Part Whatever v2.0)

Former NHLer Nick Harbaruk

Nick Harbaruk, a defensive right wing who spent five seasons in the NHL in the 1970s, has died. He was 67.

He died of bone cancer at Scarborough General Hospital in suburban Toronto on March 10, daughter Kim Salmon said.

Harbaruk played four seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins and one with the St. Louis Blues, leaving the NHL in 1974. He joined the WHA and spent 2 1/2 seasons with the Indianapolis Racers.

Oh, thats surprising. I would have expected them to be brothas.

Well, I'm sure they were brothas. Just not brothers.

Any time anyone mentions Nate Dogg, I instantly hear nothing but this in my head:

I believe Warren G (also on Regulators) is related to Snoop somehow (brother or cousin or something).

That was the first song that was played after it was announced.

I am one of the few on here old enough to remember Preston's 3 major hits-circa 1959 he was one of the tops of the charts for weeks. Simple songs with simple lyrics but a top star for a short time. RIP:(

I well remember "Running Bear," but what a surprise that it was written by the Big Bopper. He was a dj in Port Arthur, Texas.
