BouncyBall 2013/2014

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

I am pinning all my basketball hopes on my alma mater, who knocked out #1 seed UWGB over the weekend and faces Wright State tonight for the Horizon League bid.

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

Some interesting action so far today.

Nebraska is running Ohio State (currently by 9 in 2nd Half), and Pittsburgh is cruising past N. Carolina (currently 50-33 in 2nd Half).

Illinois nearly took down Michigan (lost by 1 late).

Here's hoping MN can find a way past WI for the 2nd time this season to shore up a NCAA bid.

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

Nevermind. Nebraska has stopped playing and its just a matter of time before OSU takes this game away from them.

Is this a must win for Minny or would a win just make them much more comfortable?

45 minutes till I head home and get the grill going.

Should be a tight game.

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

It's crazy watching this Neb game. They only let one guy shoot the ball, and that guy just fouled out. Now who are they going to go? No one?

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

So in the early game Illinois' coach forgets basketball in the final minute and they miss a wide open floater as time expires.
Then Nebraska chokes with help from the referees.
I'll be gone for MN-UW because I'll be at the UW-MSU hockey game.
Then MSU-NU to end the quarterfinals, which hopefully will be an easy win for MSU.

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

One thing to note, in the DII Women's Tournament, Simon Frazier of BC was in the field and won last night. I don't if that's the first for a Canadian school but I note this nonetheless.
