Not being a BC guy, I have no idea why O'Hanley and Motherwell were dismissed (and you don't either) but I do know that the Green Line thing turned out to be a misdeed by the MBTA driver. And the Atkinsons were not even at BC yet, so not sure how you can hang that on York. With BU there was Sabo, who was arrested, no? And we had the baseball bat incident involving some non-BU thugs who crashed a party, correct? These incidents, plus the two this year, are on the front page of the sports page. If you don't think that all four have and will put a stain on the BU program and the support it receives from the administration and donors, you are sadly mistaken. BU hockey is not Penn State football where 1000's will riot if Parker is dismissed. There is a core of well off alumni, including former players, who will back Jack no matter what. But there are others, including some that I know, who won't. The grumbling, precipitated by lackluster performances (save 2009) in the post-season, has been there for several years and stuff like this just makes it louder.

Probably semantics KIA, but what PEaves gave Exter was a knee to the head, not a hip check. Plenty, plenty of time for him to avoid the collision with a defenseless goalie..........but sadly as we all witnessed he choose not to. More on the results of that fateful and bad decision later.

Bingo Greg that is the only story here outside of the ultimate crime details/verdict.This is one of many many dramas this program has gone through in the last 12 years all under Parkers leadership. Whether it be player suspensions, players crimes/misdeeds, players abruptly leaving, players being told to leave, recruiting failures, earlier then expected departures, under achievement, coach suspensions or being tossed, on and on ...... The program has been a virtual laughingstock and easy target for the super fans, yet the "legend" behind the bench remains. They invite and deserve all the crap that the Mav's and PH's lay on them. He will not leave until his legacy is tarnished to the extent of Joe Paterno in utter humiliation,and he has more to give in that regards, this wont be enough.

Dumb hockey players provide great fodder. Most schools have had their share. Even BC.....BELIEVE THAT CHIT???!!! LOLOLOL
Parker and Yorks days are numbered. Both well beyond their useful years.
