Yeah, what a guy that Cory is, he left her all alone after she just did a little screaming/crying and kicked him in the nuts a few times. Wonder if it would have ended differently if he'd assaulted her on a deserted walking path where nobody could hear her screams??

As I said above (probably after you posted this) I misused the word accord in that sentence. But that people initially assumed the story was worse than it ended up being? It's still awful but yes I'm serious.

I know you like to stir up the BU fans, but if you really think this is anywhere close to multiple child rapes and coverups of repeated child rapes right up to the President of the University, you need to have your maroon glasses rechecked.

Doesn't make what's happened at BU any less acceptable as previously mentioned, but come on.

Can anyone dig up the interview with a couple players that cited Nicastro as "the best with the girls"? Was it the Bay State Road Sports Blog? I remember a statement like 'no one's close to his numbers' or something like that.

I'm not defending Corey*. What he did was sick and disgusting and I've said that several times in the last hour. The question that was posed is what circumstances were different between what people initially assumed about his story and what ended up being true, that's all I was trying to answer. Read the whole thread or don't comment on it.

Well, most importantly, the story the accuser gave about her opening her door three times due to policy dictating she had to is patently false. There is NO such policy where an RA is forced to open his/her door if they feel they are in danger. Bottom of the article: http://www.thebostonhockeyblog.com/2011/12/alleged-trivino-incident-extreme.html This begs the question, why would she open her door for Corey three times if she really felt she were in danger? I hate to sound as though I'm blaming the accuser, but her reasoning given to police there is factually not true, and makes it perfectly reasonable to question whether she truly felt in danger when she opened her door. Also, while I don't have any info to confirm this, there have been rumors that Trivino and this girl hardly were new acquaintances.

yup.

one involved a person who was no longer associated with the university violating victims who were not associated with the university in places where nobody associated with the university lived.

the other involves persons associated with the university allegedly violating persons associated with the university in places where they and others associated with the university live.

I should clarify, I'm by no means condoning Trivino in any way. My point is only to highlight that there are some fairly significant inaccuracies in the story she apparently reported to police which would prompt reasonable questions. As to what he did in the room after getting in, that hasn't been refuted, and that seems to be where his fault lies, in addition to even getting himself into that situation in the first place.

Which of those is the :rolleyes:?

I think the only point he's making is we shouldn't rush to judgement on this one. It's very probable that this is absolutely awful but until the police report is out and the investigation over we shouldn't call for anybody's head.

I just want to remind people that there is an option to report posters for personal attacks. In my opinion, accusing a reporter who is great at what she does of being unprofessional and flirting with players qualifies as a personal attack. Hopefully enough of you will agree with me and these morons will be banned.
