You guys would be annoyed too if Merrimack had managed to pull out the game on Saturday night, and they jumped ahead of you in the PWR.

I don't understand your reasoning - or perhaps it's your use of the word "annoyed." Everyone knows the rules at the beginning of the season. It is what it is...if there's any reason to be annoyed it's because my team didn't win. Again...I reiterate...if you WIN, everything else takes care of itself.

The only other alternative is to go back to the "old days," when a committee decided who got the "at-large" (non-tournament winner) bids. I don't think anyone wants that, so, as a result we have to live with things the way they are. Sometimes I think teams get so caught up with obsessing about the PWR that they forget to just go out and play the game.

Hockeyblog said it happend on campus & neither Parker nor players were available for comment but haven't heard beyond that

I say this every year. PWR does not really even exist. Who cares? You're looking at something that is meant for 1 day out of the year, and you're looking at it on the wrong day.

i believe we reached six in 08-09. michigan tech usually has about 25,000 per season.

Interesting he's only "suspended indefinitely" and not off the team like Trivino was. I'm guessing its because Trivino had been warned multiple times, but assuming the investigation confirms the allegations were hearing I hope a similar example is made here. This is unacceptable.

Interesting he's only "suspended indefinitely" and not off the team like Trivino was. I'm guessing its because Trivino had been warned multiple times, but assuming the investigation confirms the allegations were hearing I hope a similar example is made here. This is unacceptable.

Trivino was booted immediately because of his agreement with Parker concerning alcohol. As far as we know, no such agreement existed or was necessary with Nicastro, hence him being suspended pending investigation.

So any thoughts on who are flight risks after this year? Am guessing Chiasson, Clendening, Nicastro and maybe Nieto have to be considered possibilities?

All kidding aside, if Nicastro gets the boot and Clendening leaves early, BU could be in trouble on D next year.

At what point will regular fans, as I consider myself, and probably more importantly big donors wash their hands of this team and stop attending and giving $$.

I'm not that naive to think that these guys are a bunch of saints, but I'm having a tough time rooting for a team that has had this many bad apples

It's incidents like this that make me thank God we have Coach York....

Well if nothing else, at least Parker is taking some action with these situations unlike he did with the Sabo beating.

I think everybody agrees if the Nicastro incident is what we're all assuming it is that both incidents were BEYOND unacceptable (really, how was what Corey did only *normal* unacceptable?). I'd bet money that the only reason Max hasn't been fully kicked off the team yet is because Parker is waiting for the investigation to conclude to be sure he's guilty. If he's found guilty and somehow still isn't kicked off I'll have a bring problem with the program, until the investigation is over though this seems like the proper course of action.

I think everybody agrees if the Nicastro incident is what we're all assuming it is that both incidents were BEYOND unacceptable (really, how was what Corey did only *normal* unacceptable?).

If this happens once, it can be seen as a problem with just that one person. If it happens multiple times, it seems more like a pattern with the program.
