I don't understand your reasoning - or perhaps it's your use of the word "annoyed." Everyone knows the rules at the beginning of the season. It is what it is...if there's any reason to be annoyed it's because my team didn't win. Again...I reiterate...if you WIN, everything else takes care of itself.
The only other alternative is to go back to the "old days," when a committee decided who got the "at-large" (non-tournament winner) bids. I don't think anyone wants that, so, as a result we have to live with things the way they are. Sometimes I think teams get so caught up with obsessing about the PWR that they forget to just go out and play the game.
You guys would be annoyed too if Merrimack had managed to pull out the game on Saturday night, and they jumped ahead of you in the PWR.
