Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!

I saw the third period last night and was almost sure BU was going to pull within 4-3, with all the opportunities they had. They were really buzzing.

Did anyone else find it odd that Rodrigues was out there when the goalie was pulled? Doesn't he only have 7 points all year? Maybe he was having a great game. Again, I only watched the 3rd period.

Jack's happy!

“When you attempt 44 shots in the third period and don’t win, that’s a testament to the other team bending and not breaking,” said BU head coach Jack Parker. “I loved my team tonight.”

They'll finish 3-1. 2-1-1 at worst. I like this team. And they are indeed a team.

Last night? **** happens.

BU Hockey: Drinking the Kool-Aid

Agreed 100% The 2009 season was a unique ride, but I love this team (well maybe not so much after the UMass and Harvard games, but it's been great to watch them since New Years, win or lose). They were tough as nails along the boards and in front of both nets last night. If they can maintain that intensity, they'll come out on the right end of things nine times out of ten. I wish they could stay out of the box, but maybe it's a byproduct of playing a take-no-prisoners style. In prior years there's been talk of "poor leadership," but not this season. Hats off to 12, 9, and 19 -- and to all the others who lead by example.

I think the loss of Coyle and Trivino is finally starting to sink in. Losing 3 of your last 4 and only scoring more than 2 goals three times in your last 8 games isn't a good sign heading into tourney season.

PROBLEM!!!!! :p

We may have another problem

Oh geez. 3hock and cryptic BU hockey news. What happened this time?

Another player in trouble with the law? Another player leaving for some fail hockey league? Parker signing a 10 year coaching extension?

Hope to hear some details soon.

Found it. Jimmy Carter on a cracker, do these guys have rocks in their heads?

I suppose we should suspend judgement until all the facts are out, innocent until proven guilty and all, but what is going on?

Well, at least that made me laugh...

I'm sure he'll chime in saying he knew about it before it happened.

Anyway, umm about the next two weekends...I would like to retract my prediction of 2-0-2 at worst.

I've never seen anything like this, especially with a team who had as good of a season as BU is having. Unbelievable that this could happen again after the Trivino mess.
