So we need to win... And we need either BC, UNH, or PC to lose?

Bummer that Noonan appears hurt, thought they played well...opponent's record notwithstanding

Done for the season. Big loss for whatever small chance BU has.

Correct. Before today I would have thought the no-brainer in that group was PC losing...but after tonight, who knows? Maine clinched at least 8th tonight so they won't be quite as motivated tomorrow, and hard to imagine they win two in a row vs UNH - same with BC - hard to imagine they'll get only 1 point out of 4 vs Vermont, so I still think it has to be PC. The WORST scenario is that everything stays the way it is and we have to play at UNH (they're fourth and we're fifth). UNH plays at 4:00 (NESN) so at least we'll know before our game starts.

Will you guys be honoring Vinny tomorrow night? ;)

Is it even possible to get in w/o winning HEA?

No. Because if we don't get to the championship game, our Pairwise will be too low. Remember that there are automatic bids for league champions, so you have to really be about 12th in the PWR to be "certain." For example, Quinnipiac is going but if they lose their league tournament then some team from outside the top 16 will get in. Let's suppose Maine gets hot and wins the tourney - they're not in the top 16 either. There's two spots that top 16 teams won't get (i.e. 2 of the top 16 will be out). So we won't get there via any other route unless something really strange happens. We've forfeited the right to do that. Too many bad losses...now it's time to just win or go home.

Didn't Buffalo play in Boston recently? :D

Come on we know Coyle isn't that good. I read about it here daily last year.

I think some people like myself were saying he was playing like a dog last year not that he wasnt skilled. I know that distinction is tough for a dumb*ss like you to understand. And why are you on another teams board again refresh my memory?

Yeah in reality it isn't happening. I guess I was just wondering if it was even a mathematical possibility...

Well, who knows but I'm guessing about a 1% chance.

It is absolutely a mathematical possibility, and it's far more than 1%. Below 50% for sure, but it's not at all that bleak as of now.
