Re: Boston University 2015-16 thread part 3 - The Postseason

Stealing a page from mookie's playbook (and posting about BU basketball on here.) Hat tip to John Holland for getting signed by the Celtics for their last two games of the year. Way to persevere John!

Regarding Robbie B, I agree that this sounds like it was handled well on both sides. Good luck to him at UVM or NU. :)

Is it normal in bouncy ball to make a roster move like that? Regardless, how cool is that? Hope he sees a few minutes on the parquet.

With regards to Robbie, that's a bit of a disappointment. Though he never really did maximize his potential it seems. Oh! He should try to transfer to Arizona State!

also at colgate the previous weekend
Looks like some response to too many home games in Oct-Nov and
not enough later in season

I've heard we're also at Michigan, with the first two weekends being on the road, I'd think that Michigan series is going to be later on in the fall or possibly even January.

Wow, talk about starting out with a tough schedule. Thanks to the Bruins for making it a slightly easier task by signing Heinen or whatever his name is...

Apparently, BU insisted that the games at Denver, Colgate and Mich be played at 4:00 PM.

So when's the home opener? Thanksgiving?

Re: Boston University 2015-16 thread part 3 - The Postseason

since everyone so happy that robbie got das boot, no whining in february that the team is missing senior leadership :p

bu has not been at colgate since the 93/94 season (a win to the tune of 8-4)

Well depending on Doyle's decision, the only remaining senior who'd realistically play would be......Roberto.

So when's the home opener? Thanksgiving?

I'd assume a Canadian exhibition game prior to going to Denver / Colgage, and then there will most assuredly be a home game for Parents weekend Oct 22nd.

So far we have:

Oct 1 - Canadian Exibition (?)
Oct 8 - @Colgate
Oct 14/15 - @Denver
Oct 22 - Home against someone for parents weekend.

We also know the Beanpot.

Any other OOC opponents we know about besides MI?

Aren't Yale and Quinnipiac coming to Agganis?

And I'm guessing harvard at home before thanksgiving and u-18 team again as well. Add in 1 (or 2 ) at Michigan....makes 11 or 12 total non-conf. + 22 conference=34.Probably about it.

I believe Union at home too, might be wrong on that one.

Re: Boston University 2015-16 thread part 3 - The Postseason

I've heard RPI in December

Enough with RPI. Please no.

That Oct 22nd game will probably be a lower tier HE team. (Guaranteed win night. :) )

Great minds, mookie. I came on here to ask the same question. Where's the leadership going to come from next season? Legit concern.

Meanwhile, over on the BC thread.... They all want Robbie since everyone's jumping ship.
