Sorry, disagree there. My whole group hated that segment. Not necessarily her but the ridiculous premise of asking players pointless questions during the period break.

Brutal game. Normally I enjoy this game because it's the first game, get to see the new players, etc. Couldn't tell a thing today.
Glad it's hockey season though

they did. hey, at least they dominated a team they should've dominated and looked good doing it. these same guys put in two on lowell last night, so they're not a completely abysmal team.

Every year BU plays a Canadian College team in an exhibition and every year it turns into a Sh&T-SHOW. 152 penalty minutes? Why do they do it?

BC beat Toronto 8-0 in 2010. 16 penalties against Toronto in that one for 40 minutes. Shots were 43-13. Ever play New Brunswick? They allegedly have one of the best if not the best teams in Canadian College hockey.

We have played New Brunswick a number of times in the past... And yes I believe they have won the Canadian college championship somewhat recently.

I'm less concerned about the penalties tonight as I'll be if it happens again, UT was gooning it up out there early on after we established an overwhelming territorial advantage. By the third it was just garbage time penalties. I didn't see to many loss of control and boneheaded minors on our guys tonight, so the penalty problems from last year is still a TBD for me as for this squad.

Thank Gawd. Those between periods were not only lame, they were embarrassing to COM.

I'm not necessarily blaming the young lady, because she may have been handed the softballs to ask.

Maybe this is the first recommendation of the Task Force to reduce the "Celebrity Culture."

Have the baby pictures disappeared, as well? I hope so.

Oh, the sideline reporter is still there, it's just a guy now. Equally dumb segment, just with a few less um's. Baby pictures were still there. No Reedy Wolf. :(

If the Task Force wants to reduce the "celebrity culture", doing away with the elaborate production that accompanies BU taking to the ice surface and precedes the player introductions would be a step towards that goal. Why can't the team come out to the band playing "Peter Gunn" and just lineup for the introductions with no fanfare?

I wouldn't mind losing the videos, or at least cutting it down from two to one. Kill the interview segment, that's just ridiculous and I'd rather have the player in the locker room with the team. Name that terrier, meh, who cares. But, PLEASE NO MORE SIDELINE REPORTER.

Reporter: Wade, walk me through that goal.
Wade: Uh, I skated in, took the pass, shot, and scored.
Reporter: Did it feel good to score that first goal?
Wade: Well, yeah.
Reporter: How important is it to win this game?
Wade: Well, we like winning more than losing, so it's important.
Reporter: Thanks, Wade, good luck in the rest of the game.

That crap gives girls a bad rep ;)

Some one here (ahem) would be asking "what the hell were you thinking when you passed left into traffic when you could have moved right with no issues? Geez Louise!!" :D

Not a direct quote at all, but the majority of the questions are those worthless softball questions that no one needs to hear answered. We all saw the goals, we don't need you to ask the player to retell what happened while they're trying to catch their breath after a period of play. I mostly feel bad for the players who have to answer these ridiculous questions when they probably just want to get in the locker room sit down for a few minutes and talk to their players, not worry about someone asking them worthless questions.

Any chance NESN picks up some early Hockey East games? Some time slots were alloted to the Bruins and they have to fill them with something.
