USHR reporting the only reason Askew committed to NU in the first place is because it was the first school to offer him. And the connection he has with BU is that he grew up a season ticket holder. Now, who knows what will happen when that first team from the Q makes an offer.

No. It was a long way to go over a holiday for just one game. If I had never been there before I would have considered it and after North Dakota, for ****s and giggles, I checked airfare and it was ridiculous. And if the weather was bad and I missed a flight....well, it just wasn't in the cards.

I believe we won our last game there, no? Yip had a goal right off a face off, IIRC. That one was on TV too.

Well to be fair, that's a pretty good reason for him to commit to BU.

WHOA I did not know this either...

NESN's doing a great job with their lockout coverage decisions. Picking up other networks' feeds for probably next to nothing and getting what is really some great programming. Seems pretty smart to me.
