Boston University 2011-2012 Season Thread: Part III: Now What?

This is my last post on this subject, sorry everyone else.

You say the only reason he is not suffering a serious punishment for his first offense is the team is down bodies, but yet you also complain that Cory suffered virtually no punishment for his first through third offenses. This does not make sense what so ever. There is nothing out there that would lead you to believe he changed his stance to be stricter, or that he changed his stance to be more lenient while they are down bodies, let alone to make both those assumptions.

Your continuous argument in this thread is you're free to post where you want when you want, but are now whining that I posted in response to you in a BU thread. This is too good.

Folks ? Perhaps I am just missing some key posts here but was some kind of decision made on Cisse that I'm not seeing here? Was he benched, suspended, shown the door? Sorry if anyone has to repeat themselves but kindly let me know...

Since this was your last post on the topic, we can just stop right here because I'm not following you and I don't get what you don't understand.

Oh, I don't care that you posted. I just thought the post itself was stupid.

Also, how do you know there is/was no punishment handed out to Cisse?

I don't. Did any of the real journalists ask Parker that specific question?

Parker hasn't been available to the media since this was even known to be an issue. I'm not even a journalist who covers the team, or a journalist at all, and I know that.

Well let me apologize for not knowing Jack's schedule, specifically when he makes himself available to the media.

Well let me apologize for not knowing Jack's schedule, specifically when he makes himself available to the media.

Step 1: Make blind assumption against team/player(s), purporting it to be the truth.
Step 2: Take person shot at said team's primary media outlet and their writers when blind assumption said to be wrong, then state that the blame falls on the writers for not obtaining enough information to avoid the previous blind assumption.
Step 3: Hide behind lack of knowledge of general media availability when pot shot and subsequent claim about lack of information availability proven to have missed by a country mile.
Step 4: ??
Step 5: Profit.

Well, isn't this cute. Well done. LOLed at blind assumption...it's also called an opinion. If you don't want me to give mine, that's perfectly fine. I have no inside information...it's an opinion.

No need to complicate things here. I don't how you expected me to know Jack Parker's schedule and when he makes himself available to the media...shame on me for not knowing  I figured with your well known, esteemed journalism school and alleged journalists that somebody would be able to ask him about potential discipline for Cisse by WEDNESDAY. We're not talking immediately after the game. Again, shame on me.

Only on the internet.

So... Parker apologized and mentioned CBS College Sports... does that mean there's video of this tirade I can watch?!

Re: Boston University 2011-2012 Season Thread: Part III: Now What?

Did anyone else find it a little strange that Parker did not include the ref(s) in his apology?

short and sweet............sorry, but i'd like to see the video of it too

You didn't miss much by not seeing it... he pretty much told them they were effen inept or something to that extent. As someone referenced below, I think he knew full well he was going to get thrown out and wanted to show the team he was sticking up for them.... kinda like when a major league manager gets tossed from game.

No. I am sure he isn't remorseful at all for chewing the guys out, probably just figured to apologize to any offended fans as a PR move.

I doubt he was sorry for what he said, nor to whom it was said...only that some ninny didn't like where and when he said it.

Re: Boston University 2011-2012 Season Thread: Part III: Now What?

“I did not think we were ready to play tonight. I thought we had three practices where I didn’t feel like it was up to our standards. I did not think we were mentally ready to play tonight... We took some bad shots in the game. We did not play well, we did not execute well, we did not share... We didn’t play the way we are capable of playing, that’s the bottom line. We made some really poor decisions... {What} I'm mainly upset about right now is that we were not read to compete the way we’re capable of competing"

BU Head Coach..... Joe Jones?

Did he verbatim copy one of Jack's post loss speeches, or combine a couple?
