if you wanna update, feel free. but i'd prefer you enjoy yourself and keep looking up to see what happens rather than pretend you're at the rink and look down at the concrete the whole time typing away.
like... see if when Vincent goes to put his fork into his meat, if he hits the meat, the plate, or hits the table.
but there is no rush, i'll be able to read it all tomorrow.

I already know who won all the awards. We went over them at the FOH meeting a couple of weeks ago.

I think it means rising junior or senior, because it's a scholarship, so giving it to a graduating senior wouldn't make much sense. Still FL, BTW.

FL, were you, or others, surprised by JP's statement that Shattenkirk is "one of the best players in BU history?" It seems incongruous given other comments he made during the season.

I think that may have been a reference to what he thinks Shattenkirk will accomplish in his NHL career. He said landing Shattenkirk was proof to him that the Agganis factor was working with recruiting, and I think was more referencing his overall talent level more than the results of what he did at BU.
Then again, I spent most of last night at the bar, and then putting myself in a food coma, so what do I remember?

I kind of agree with BU Hammer about it possibly referencing what he expects Shatty to do in the NHL, not just what he did at BU. However, I'm not sure Parker was all that upset with Shatty's play this year. His leadership, yes, but he said many times this season that Shatty was playing like an All-American. I know most people here will disagree with that, but I'd say Shatty was singled out for playing well more than he was singled out for playing poorly. I could see Shatty kind of following in the footsteps of Poti and Whitney, where an NHL All-Star appearance or Olympics appearance adds to his legacy.
