If I were them, given how hard of a time the Newton residents give them with, well.... just about everything.... I sure would not be wanting to contribute to Newton!

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm no expert on the subject, but isn't it to be expected that a university that has X students and is only partially in town Y would pay significantly less to town Y than a school completely in town Y with 2X students?

Yes I understand enrollment =/ sq ft, but I'm lazy and don't feel like looking up area. And this writer seems slightly partial;)

The school didn’t seem opposed to the 27 firetrucks, seven ambulances, and six cruisers from Boston that raced to Conte Forum when there was an ammonia leak Tuesday morning.

If you don't pay taxes, why did Boston send over their emergency vehicles to Newton?

Doesn't make sense. Doesn't Newton pay their own FD?

Saw Gryba today and his eye didn't look very good. I guess he got sucker punched. I have the video link. Man is the other teams announcer biased. The hit looked exceptional. The announcer had Gryba do almost everything but hit the other kid with the kitchen sink. Interesting enough Brian Strait was the guy who gave Sill the puck before he got missiled by Gryba. I think Gryba will play tough and smart, choose his fights sparingly but continue to lay bombs for hits. He has had enough practice his last 4 years.

Interesting enough I did a little research on this Boulerice and he has a history of cheap shots.

No question Boulerice is a thug. He shouldn't even be allowed to play hockey anymore with all the crap he's pulled over the years. However, I do think Gryba led with his forearm. Probably didn't warrant a sucker punch, but I do think it was a dirty hit.

Edit: Boulerice deserves more of this.

Yeah, that's probably two minutes for contact to the head elbowing. the retaliation of a punching is worse though imo.

According to UNH's tentative schedule, BU will have a home-and-home with UNH on Nov. 19-20 and game @UNH on Jan. 22. Good news in that both @UNH games are on Saturdays. No Friday afternoon rush hour traffic to deal with like there was this year. BTW, I've added a feature on the right side of the blog called "2010-11 Games We Think We Know". Obviously I'll add to it as more schedules are released and/or change it if anything turns out to be wrong.
