, in my opinion the biggest loss has been Quinn the last two years. I submit Exhibit "A": BU's defense these last two years. How much criticsm did Shatty and Colby get last year and now Shatty is a leading cadidiate for the Calder Cup. Replace Quinn with Powers and could coaching be a factor here?

A bigger loss that Gilroy, Wilson and Bonino? Maybe Gilroy is not technically a "loss" since he was a senior... I mean, I liked Quinn as much as the next guy... but the biggest difference between 09 and now is the overall talent leval.

I'm pretty much agreeing wtih JD here... I think this team has some talent... they were not as good as the 8-1-5 start; and also probablly not as bad as this recent 1-4-1 slide...

Also how has a certain player in Buffalo at the moment not been mentioned as one of the more likely players to turn pro, he is the second most likely IMO.

I didn't mention him because he was drafted at the end of the first round and players drafted ahead of him like Colin Wilson and Chris Kreider played at least two years. I think Coyle will do the same.

Perhaps Coyle will look at what his uncle did as well. Tony led the team in scoring as a freshman (a team with J. Sacco as a junior and S. McEachern as a sophomore no less), but came back for another year, and was almost rewarded with a national title (he darn near won one with 1 second left in regulation ).

A rueful memory to this day.

"At the end of today's practice, Parker said the suspension was still indefinite. In the hours since then, he has decided to make the suspension permanent."

So Fed, how did this work? Did he call you all back with another statement? Did Brian Kelley issue a statement? What?

I got a call from media relations with a message from Parker that Glass had been dismissed.

Does Glass's dismissal open up a scholarship for next yr?

FL-

Any idea if the captains and the team agreed with this move?

Haven't had a chance to ask yet. I can tell you that the team was very upbeat and was having fun at yesterday's practice. There didn't seem to be any sort of tension or disturbances. I can also tell you that Parker has been very happy with the leadership all season. I don't think Glass' problems are emblematic of any larger team issues or anything like that.

Thanks FL, good to hear.

This team has been "walking the line" for awhile this season and I was afraid of this could cause a mutiny of sorts.

If he isn't missed by the team, then I won't miss him.
