Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this. Still not convinced the team is going to stick, but if anybody's going to make football a fixture on campus again (albeit as an unofficial club team) it's this group. They really have their stuff together. I was really impressed.

This is exactly why it is so stupid to send kids that age out there, 3 or 4 years before college. they will be very rough around the edges when they show up. Could have accomplished just as much by going there sr year and maybe one year after... I doubt BU wants more off ice issues on campus.

"We were sorry we didn't get to see 14-year-old d-man and BU recruit Anthony DeAngelo, who was suspended due to a fight at his high school. Cason Hohmann, also a BU recruit and the team's leading returning scorer to boot, was also suspended."

All the USHR article said is exactly what Hokydad posted. It didn't go into any more details.

Schedule updated

Most noteworthy item, IMO, is "The second round of the Beanpot will also change its times this year, as the consolation game will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the championship game will start at 7:30 p.m."

Yeah, now there'll only be 12 people at the consolation game instead of the usual 18.

So long as this is an isolated incident and nothing more than stated, a fight among 14 year olds, who cares? Oh no, an immature 14 year old got into a fight, clearly he won't be prepared for going to school and playing hockey in 3 or 4 years.
