Point? Amazing how much BC has been able to accomplish with "just as many flops". Petrecki leaving college hockey for the pro game does not equal a flop...not even close.

I'm laughing right now and people most certainly will laugh about the Beanpot if you try using it in this type of argument.

Really, 1 year in a 13-year time frame... I can't really say it swung in BU's favor if you frame it in the last 13 years, especially considering the back-end with BC slapping another title on to this side. Think about a real pendulum ... does it stay stuck in the same spot for 11 seconds and then quickly jolt to the other side for 1 second and then back to where it started? Maybe the hockey "pendulum" didn't really swing and it will take a long swing back to BU sometime after Parker and York are done in a bigger time frame (micro vs. macro). Or we need to throw out the pendulum talk here.

Not really. The BU team of 2009 came together and completed amazed everyone. However, can you say that about BU for the couple years before and the year after they won? Now look at BC. They have been pretty amazing for the past 10 years. In terms of trends, (aka pendulum), even during 2009, it was in BC's favor.

Additionally, a pendulum isn't a great metaphor.

Yes and I have the same problem. It does say something about registration beginning at 3 CST, but I did register, just couldn't buy. Hope someone can figure this out

I'm a little confused here. So I am to believe that Parker released some of the info to the media, but not all? Some of you have inside info and I haven't seen anything else mentioned...

Parker didn't release any info to the media. What we reported came from multiple other sources. We also heard plenty of rumors, but none of them could be verified. Like Agganis said, you don't have to be a genius to realize there was probably more to it.

So, what is the best way to watch tonight's game, on either TV or the interwebs? Is there any good way, or are they forcing people to pay money to watch a grainy feed that only takes up a quarter of the screen?
