We dropped to 23rd. Basically we need to win the HE tourney now.

PC got away with 2 HFBs and 2 cross checks.

To even say the officiating didn't have a big part in this...is to not give refs credit. That's a swing of 11 penalties.

There was also a blatant 3rd period interference call on PC missed right in front of the BU bench that almost sent Jack over the edge. And a botched icing call that led to a lost faceoff and immediate PC goal.

I thought PC played well. They buried their chances on the scrambles in front of the net and BU somehow missed most of their similar chances. No idea how BU can miss so many open nets. Uncanny, really.

At this point I don't think any of us should waste our time or energy trying to analyze what we need to do to get an at-large and make the ncaas. Whatever happens, happens. I'm personally tired of investing so much energy into each game, constantly looking at the scoreboard for other games and following our movement up and down the pairwise. Or maybe I'm one of the few that actually does.....

I think at this point, we just have to see what happens. For all we know right now, the team could go back to sucking and the point would be moot.

Agreed. They could have won last night and every game the rest of the season and still might not have mattered. *sigh* It was a fun five days back in the top 20.

There's no way in hell PC is winning tonight. You all realize this, right? And I'm not just talking about the fact that the Goons aren't going to get 13 power play chances....

Jon - not sure why you think any of us are worried about tonight's game. It's an overall season thing.
