Twice? Didn't they lose to BC three years in a row? The final year against BC was in quick-strike comeback fashion though.

Good point. But it wasn't even close. 4-0. Yeah... Boston is the bane of Oxford right now.

Teams BC owns:
North Dakota
Miami (OH)

Without a doubt, Miami is the team to root for when your team goes down. I know I'll be rooting for them.

On a somewhat related note, it was nice not to see Jerry York bend over and take it from Parker again two weeks ago.

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

BC also lost a NC championship game to North Dakota in 2000 i think and didnt they smoke BC the year BC played Mercyhurst? but, yeah, they have played 'em well............also the 0-0 2 period tie a couple years ago in a fog game

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

Triv broke his ankle and is out for the season. It was never a high angle sprain

You got a source for us? Or any reason to think you might have any credibility left?

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

Good thing I didn't listen to any of those morons who said it was a minor injury. Oh wait.

have you never broken a bone and been able to use it perfectly fine?

And this is the same source as the Greer story. So once you find this one true i would like a written apology

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

I've been lucky enough to only break two bones. When I broke my nose I was unable to breath out of it within 30 seconds and when I broke my finger it was swollen up to more than double its normal size so that I was unable to flex it within 15 minutes.

nose isn't really a bone, is it? it's cartlidge or something that is attached to your skull. (there was a older woman on the T tonight who had a nose that bent hard to her left... couldn't help looking at it. wanted to ask -- but did a costanza:p )

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

It's primarily cartilidge but there are two nasal bones that connect to the maxilla, I broke my right one in addition to some cartilidge.

I think the 2 NCAA losses in the 2000's would disqualify BC from "owning" the Sioux but have won more then they lost against them.

Not sure why anyone would root for Miami they are choking dogs. And a students death is not enough of a reason. I prefer the big established programs winning or any HE team first.

Triv will probably play the next game. He seemed fine walking home after the game

Triv broke his ankle and is out for the season. It was never a high angle sprain

he's ok to walk home and will play on friday, but actually has a broken ankle?

anyone with a broken ankle would not be walking home under his own power without crutches looking OK. you're a tool.

in other words.... high ankle sprain?

happy to be vacationing in Hotlanta this weekend, but unhappy to be missing a pair of games that have the potential to launch this team into a much deeper postseason than most would have imagined as little as 3 weeks ago.

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

Guys I saw Triv at FitRec and challenged him to a game of hoops. He laid down a sweet dunk so I'm pretty sure he's OK to go this week.

We had to stop playing though because shortly after Patrick Ewing showed up and shattered the backboard
