Parents don't coach the team.
I will give you the goalie. Not her fault. Does BC have a goalie coach?
To win a National Championship you need all 20 plus players. A top notch goalie and solid defense. BC has the offense.

It does, but shouldn't the Eagles score more than a team like Cornell with the pieces they have? Maybe not, but it seems that way.

Last year BC got outplayed by Ohio State in there own rink in the tournament. People (BC) want to think the are a National power. They are not.
1. Inconsistent play
2. Defense is poor
3. Lack of depth
4. Poor coaching. what have they accomplished with all the talent that has gone there. Coach said " teams are afraid to play us" really coach. Why would that be.
5. A BC parent at the UNH game on Sat was yelling 'turn it on BC turn it on BC". I think he is still sitting there saying "turn it on BC"
6.To many dumb penalties= Lack of discipline.

to that I would add an air of arrogance over work ethic. Have heard in the hockey circles that their off ice training is lacking.
Must have been the same BC parent who was yelling "here it comes" "you know its coming" then UNH wins!!

UNH has made the Frozen Four twice ever. Before last year BC had made it 6 out of 7 years. Miss one Frozen Four and the trolls come out from under the bridge, eh??
Maybe UNH will be relevant enough again someday to have people trolling them too. But probably not.

More fun facts!
UNH's winning percentage in their last game (0.500), a game they did not win and yet are still chirping about, was higher than their season winning percentage in every single one of the last 9 years. Ouch!

This BC thread gets my vote for USCHO Women's Thread of the Year. Always informative, always entertaining. We got to watch a psychological drama play out in real time as Grant went from extolling the greatest team ever assembled, to watching the losing streak push BC out of the tournament, to the calm acceptance of his flawed team's good-but-not-great chances.
The OSU thread had a brief shot, but couldn't sustain the drama.

Haha T3 - you woke me up. Gentle reminder: The Wildcats hold the all-time advantage, 47-23-6 when playing BC, with 21 straight wins between 1977 and 2002. UNH has a 24-11-3 when facing BC in the Whittemore Center.

Could you remind the readers when the last time BC won a National Championship in womens hockey.
BC played a game a few years ago at the Whitt and they were 40-0-0 or close to that. Did they win that game. All in fun.
