That's ok we'll get you in the Beanpot and Hockey East finals. Looks like the youngins are taking over BC. Noticed a lot of the upper classman not getting much time at all even though the score was out of hand. Is Walsh hurt or just not playing?

That's a good question, I hadn't noticed. I think she's one of our better players. Let me ask around...

Walsh played, stats sheet says fourth line. She got an assist on the last goal.

I showed little faith in the Eagles with my pick of BU last evening, but am tickled that the Eagles appear to be coming together. never understood why they do not play a more competitive pre-season, as they usually struggle early in the year. on the other hand, they have been in the frozen 4 the last two years in a row, so as many a coach has said in the past, "it's not how you play in october, but more how you win in march". congrats to the eagles and good luck this weekend (i did pick them for this weekend).

Curious if anyone thinks BC has anyone with a realistic shot of making the 2014 Olympic team?

I think Carpenter is deserving of the chance, and Skarupa as well. Fields has a lot to offer and it would be interesting to see how she acquits herself in that crowd. Miller in net and K. johnson have obviously turnd A heads. it will be interesting to see if they get a chance to move past the U-18s

Your top talent is very young, so 2014 may be a bit soon. Carpenter has the best chance and really should have been on the U22 team this summer. A lot may depend on how healthy other players are, and many of the best US forwards have been dealing with injuries of late.

It seems like there are a bunch of players "on the cusp."

If none of them go, you'd have to think the 2014 BC squad would be crazy-good in that Olympic year, no?

I agree though, I think of everyone, Carpenter seems to have the best shot.

As a BU fan, I don't get to watch BC as much as the rest of you guys but based on the games I've seen over the years, I actually think Blake Bolden has the best shot at making the Olympics. Might actually be the best case scenario for BC since she'll already be graduating. If she can have herself a career senior year, she definitely has a strong shot. And yes, assuming Carpenter doesn't make the Olympic team, BC will be scary good next year.

Carpy has a great all around game. For some reason Katie does not like her........Bolden needs to be more disciplined. She takes stupid penalties at bad times. She has 10 in 5 games. That's a lot even for her.

That was the most frustrating tie I've seen in a long time. Absolutely dominated BU all over the place except on the scoreboard.
