Suddenly after a couple of BU losses, BC is sitting in 8th! Realistically, if they stay in 8th, they'll need to win the Hockey East tournament anyway to make the field. But still - a nice sign. With BU faltering a bit, there's really no excuse for not winning at least, say, two trophies this year, between the Beanpot, hE regular season, and HE tournament.

It was a good sign to see the Eagles play well and win two games against a decent team with Skarupa on the shelf. Let's hope she's back in the lineup against UNH.

I don't want to tempt fate, and Providence are not a good enough team this season to draw a real conclusion from a pummeling of them, but with Skarupa back and in dominant form, Field off her early-January cold spell, and Boyles above her save % from last year, we're finally looking as good as we were expecting to. I say this fully expecting them to open a big can of FFS against BU on Tuesday night of course.

Biggest thing to me actually the balance of the scoring. We have three lines that are all real scoring threats, with our best line suddenly Waslk-Trivigno-Leary who have been playing crazy good since Kinger shuffled things up with the loss of Skarupa. Now that she's back there's obviously no sense in messing with a good thing and we can use Skarupa to compliment another line.

Yes, we are really feeling good right now. Knock on wood. We'll learn more from the Beanpot than this game though.

At the game, have to leave soon to beat the storm, gotta make it back to Virginia tonight. BC definitely firing on all cylinders.

Is Boyles a fifth year? I've been unable to follow much at all over the last 2-3 years.

****, BU woke up after the break. Hope BC can get it together, they've been looking a little weak this period.

Had to bail midway through the 2nd, currently trying to make it past NY before the mess starts. Did see you down on the corner with the camera hole

Great to see Hux, DC, Lancer, henri, whoop and Doghouse there tonight. Hope the kid wasn't too sassy for you; she's actually doing a lot better than a couple of years ago at advanced tasks like being nice to people she doesn't know.
