Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

Actually, you never mentioned his Achilles:

It was posted on this page, you coulda just scrolled to check to see what you posted.

Sorry Scarlet, I though acl was associated with Achiles. Which is why I said, "ACL Type" and not ACL, Whatever....

It is a serious injury. sucks either way but will be fine long term

doesnt change the timeline or the fact he wont be going to NTDP, which was the point. which as usual, you didnt get

Here is the post again for slasher and scarlet. They are all confused and cant sleep because it is a achilles tendon and not a acl. Either way, my exact original post stands.

"Word on the street is that BC recruit Brendan Silk had a major injury and is out for 9 months. Will not be able to go to natl program and will set back development big time." (Quote)

Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

geez, i was away from the area and USCHO for a few days.............nice to get back to the flame, er, ............i mean entertainment.;) i'll give Hokydad credit, he was right, the kid had a serious injury. tough break for the youngster:( ..........wonder what other juicy ort is coming about our rivals:confused:

Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

A. I said ACL types/Achiles.

So an ACL has to do with an Achilles? Do you have an anatomy book? Tell ya what, the next time you have someone trapped in your van, measure the distance between his knee and foot. Hint: An ACL has nothing to do with an Achilles.

Such a clown...

Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

He probably didn't want to type out AChiLyles so just used a three kettle abbreviation :p

No, it doesn't change anything, like the fact that you're an idiot. I wasn't referring to THAT post. I was referring to the one where you just said "ACL type" and then you said you mentioned Achilles in it. Which you did not. I was trying to help you out to show you so you could see your mistake. Since you have severe reading comprehension skills of your own, I can see where you totally missed that.

He probably screwed it up Scarlet because when he had his labotomy done he was told it was an "ACL Type" procedure, too...

where did I say I 'mentioned" Achilles in it? Must be that Medford GED. In a follow up I said ACL types/Achilles, I.e. ACL types, leg injury or whatever.

End result I posted info on here 5 days before USHR.com , a paid service did. The results are exactly the ame. Serious leg injury, out 6-9 mths+/-, out of us natl team. Your only contribution is to write 3 or 4 times that I said ACL instead of Achilles? Talk about a moron/idiot. Thats what you are. Another thread where you aded nothing

I said ACL types/Achilles, I.e. ACL types, leg injury or whatever.

So if I break my femur is that also an ACL type injury?

Just admit that you got the story mostly right, but messed up on one detail. It's actually more respectable to state that than to claim your info was pristine when everyone has proof that it was not, even though it was mostly accurate.

Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

obviously hokydad broke into the hospital where silk was taken, donned an orderly outfit and snuck a peek at the medical records. unfortunately, he misremembered the exact nature of the injury as he has written it quickly on his hand - but that got all sweaty after security chased him out of the building - and it was too hard to read. hokydad, please refudiate.

Re: Boston College Offseason Thread: Basking in the glow.. again

Why is this so important to you?

It isnt. You should be asking the other 2 morons why it is so important to write posts on why acl or Achilles is so important to them. This isnt supposed to be a sewing circle, its supposed to be a board with info. Writing 5 or 6 posts trying to discredit this, "Word on the street is that BC recruit Brendan Silk had a major injury and is out for 9 months. Will not be able to go to natl program and will set back development big time." (Quote)because I said, ACL type", in a follow up is a joke. Didnt say ACL, said ACL type.

This was the story/passed on info

"Word on the street is that BC recruit Brendan Silk had a major injury and is out for 9 months. Will not be able to go to natl program and will set back development big time." (Quote)

That sums it up.

Saying later that it was an ACL type or a leg injury is meaningless. Whe the guy told me what happened, I didnt care. Simply knew it was something in that area and was bad and would hurt his NTDP chances, whch I thought sucked for him.

Obviosly it was Achilles and I said acl type

whatever
