Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

BC really got away from what was working. That is what is sad.

If you're able to get 3 years out of these kids, I'll take it. Losing Wood after one year is tough but you have to consider his age. The toughest thing (and someone alluded to 2001 offseason) is when they all happen at once.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

I really want to go to this game but want to hold off on getting tix... will be interesting to see what sales look like in the early going.

This is a great time of year to go to NYC, take the kids, go to the Christmas show at Radio City Music Hall.

If you can swing the time off, you really should try to go down Wednesday and take the kids to the Macy's parade. It's really a cool spectacle and I think they'd have a blast.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Talked to someone in ticket office. This is NOT something where they will have an option for season ticket holders when the renewals come out. He anticipated the BC promo code for the event to come out either this afternoon or tomorrow.

agreed on the 3 years. also, if you can jump and go straight to the nhl, I can't blame them. noah playing 79 games as an 19 year old was clearly the right move for the player.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Wild fan here. Has Alex Tuch been improving? Does he have the talent to be a late bloomer like Blake Wheeler of Winnipeg Jets fame?

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

you hush mookie

how bc is it to not send out the presale code when the presale happens in 2 hours

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Well at least i didn't miss it. Assuming they are emailing it out?

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

He is awesome and should sign with the wild tomorrow

I wouldn't gloat too much Mookie. BC's offseason this year is a preview of coming attractions for BU's offseason next year. Of course, that's assuming your guys actually show up in the fall in the first place.

It hasn't been a straight progression from day 1 as a freshman. I think the coaches challenged him and not making WJC this year was a wake up call. Overall he did take a step forward but would love to see him come back for one more year and have a dominating year. Unfortunately doesn't look like that's going to happen.

The Wild's cupboard is pretty bare for young, talented forwards.

Re: Boston College: It's Trophy Time

Maybe all these guys are jumping ship because old one eye is ready for tee times with Parker? Let's face it, his wallet is so thin he can't even buy a championship game these days, let alone a championship.

Definitely could be a big challenge for BU. I figure Fabbro and Bellows would be he most "ready" after one year, Keller likely not far behind. I imagine Krys will stick around for at least two year, perhaps even more. Of course it all depends who drafts them and yes, if they actually show up.
