Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

O.K. Time for couple of hours sleep before hittin' the road. "Shippin' up to DETROIT OOOOOOOO." See ya'll there!:D :D :D

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Good luck! My crew will be cheering on the Eagles. Let's keep it in Hockey East.

Off to Detroit...

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Great job this morning on NESN covering BC and the Frozen Four, NOT! Doesn't NESN cover Hockey East or am i imagining it?? Nary a second about BC Hockey and the Frozen Four but plenty about the new basketball coach at The Heights. I know i should be used to this but come on NESN! it's just pathetic AND you cover and televise the freaking league and nothing the morning of the Frozen Four?

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Hello from 20 miles east of Ohio on I-80... 23 of us are in a caravan of 5 cars.

Let us know when you get in. Just curious as to why you took the route you did? Fewer tolls,no passports? Would have been about 1 hour and 100 miles less going through Sarnia, Ontario and bypassing the city if you are heading to Southfield first. Also could have seen Niagara Falls. Even would have been shorter taking I-90 through NY and then through Cleveland. Good luck, stay safe and root loudly for the Eagles.

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

I am looking into last minute flights and the most cost effective option seems to be to fly BOS-ORD and drive the four hours. Worth the $230 to cut out eight hours driving each way.

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Greetings from Chicago!!! 5 hours to go in the car, but I can't wait!!!

GO EAGLES!

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Finally made it!!!!

This is freaking awesome. I hope the first game is also awesome and I hope our Eagles can pull it off. I am so nervous, like I am playing, hahaha.

Lets go Eagles.

BC/HE: We're here. In fact we're at The Town Pump right now

We took the route we did because a few in our number had no passports and we wanted to stick together.

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

the drive from PIT is only around 4hrs. from cleveland it is even closer. both of those cities have SWA and competitive fares from bos/mht/pvd. PIT has jetblue direct flights too.

Know the feeling. It was always more comforting if your team played and won the first game. However if they lost the first game it sure took a lot out of you. The first game will distract your nervousness until it is obvious who will win. It really doesn't get any easier going to the Frozen 4 until you've gone about a dozen times. Then you can appreciate how every teams' fans feel.

That makes sense. Were your cars covered with Eagles banners? Any competition from Miami fans coming up after passing Toledo? A caravan like yours should have been intimidating to them if they were alone.

Yeah. Me and my father have been to two Frozen Four's already, so this is our third. Hopefully we can get to that dozen number within the next 9 years. :D

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

This is for Kenny:

That's the performance we were all looking for. Kudos to players and staff. Best game of the year.

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again

Talk about peaking at the right time... That was tremendous, and they actually got better as the game went on. Nice, reassuring performance by Muse, too, although he wasn't tested all that much.

Come on BC on Saturday night!

Re: Boston College Hockey Thread: Frozen once again
