I've been copying some posts as I read the threads. Not a lot of love for BC. But since it is near impossible for the Eagles to enter the NCAA's 'under the radar' ever again, I suppose this season is as close as it gets.

My Frozen Four: Lowell, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Qunnipiac, with the Gophers winning it all.

I'm going with a St Cloud, Wisco, Union, UML FF. Union as nat champ.

No one gets by Lowell in that bracket

Lowell comes out of its region. ND loses, Vermont loses

BC is more skilled than Union, but not by a whole lot, and the latter has better 'tending and D... And Minnesota has always found a way to blow it.
My provisional pick would be UML, which is on quite a roll.

UML has the Team that is built to win with 4 lines/and a top notch goaltender who's hot at the right time to go along with their Coach Norm Bazin/big time intense...also watch for Union on the Eastern side...either of these Teams could bring home the Hardware.

FROZEN 4: UMass-Lowell - Union - North Dakota - St.Cloud State --- Nat. Champs: UML

UML, PC, Minn and Wisconsin. UML wins it.

Good luck to the Riverhawks. I'm kinda sorta rooting for you guys this weekend.

Lowell is coming out of that region and the Empire might not even get past Denver. Watch out for the Q in the East as well

I too think that Denver will take BC, and PC will knock off Q.

BC certainly has the best line in college hockey with no one else being close. That being said Hellebucyk is the best goalie by far and the best since Howard was in HE. As a neutral observer that was rooting for both teams today so I could see the matchup tomorrow I can't wait.

Apparently we are the only team that Notre Dame can beat.

Glad they are gone. Still a ways to go, but glad our "kryptonite" is gone.

Going to be a great game tomorrow I think. The scary thing for us is that I think Lowell's strengths match well (for them) with our weaknesses. I think they will be able to push our D and create turnovers and transition, which is one of the things they excel at.

Obviously the fact that scoring on Hellebuyck is almost impossible is pretty daunting, too.

But I do think these are two of the very very best teams in the nation and it should be a great show.
