well, about the game. Fantastic game, really. Would have been overjoyed with a point . Need some payback tomorrow............when i said this thread is dead i guess i put the whammy on us

I'm not one to complain about the refs but i had a clear view of that and it was BS. Wiped out a BC PP with less than 3 left in regulation then MC gets a PP with a minute left in OT (another BS call for goalie interference, Mullane pushed from behind) and they score off a rebound. It is what it is and on to Conte tomorrow in a rematch with UNH

Very minor infraction. Nothing what so ever to do with the law. Not even on the same Galaxy as the bu incidents. Great kid and will be better for it. Will be surprised if not back real soon.
Boys will be boys.

This is a cautionary tale about the lure of the ACC. Florida State won the ACC football Championship but came back with more than a trophy: a $478,000 debt. They sold virtually no tickets and are on the hook for those allocated but not sold...$440,000. They piled on more debt, bringing the total to $478,000. I'm looking at BC and wondering whether the move to the ACC was worth it. Football or basketball, they just don't move fans to the games. If they ever rose above mediocrity and played in these Championship games, I shudder to think what kind of debt they'd run up. With TV revenue et al, I don't know if this end up being a 'positive sum game' for the Eagles.

Anyone that was at the game will agree with you. Absolute crap. I was at the end where JG was tripped. It was a stick in the skates trip, clear as day. They don't have the stones to call one penalty there, but then they call that goalie interference on BC when if anything that should have been matching for the shove from behind. Great game, but disappointing when the refs play such a factor at crunch time.

What is the correlation coefficient of complainers about officiating and fans of losing teams?

It's time for Johnny to break out his alternate breakaway move.
Hockey East goalies have the back hander, high glove side or fivehole, stopped cold.

If I had a nickel for the number of breakaways he's been stoned on this season... :(

The MC radio guys felt the Warriors caught a break on both call. They have access to replays so the had a chance review both calls.

That's why it's frustrating. You play hard and well for 55 minutes, overcoming numerous calls against you only to finally have a legit PP chance wiped out for no reason and then a bad call leading to the GWG for the other team. All that hard work goes down the drain as you leave with 0 points. And you did this without kevin hayes. Even more frustrating coming away with nothing in such a big game.

Hey, just going off what the MERRIMACK announcers said. You should be thankful bu even got a point last night after that bogus waved off goal.

What the BU's and Maine's of the world consider suspendable behavior is a far cry from what BC feels it should be. Up in Orono, unless its a class A felony and in all the papers, they won't even blink an eye, pretty much the same down at the other end of Comme Ave. That's the difference between York and those other guys.
