Am curious to see who people think would be a clear favorite over BC come tourney time judging from where we are at this point in the season. MN would seem an obvious choice, but beyond them, I'm not sure who else would be on that list? Unlike past years, there are probably a bunch of teams that could very well beat us, but I just don't know how many would be favored over us. Any thoughts?

The thrashing at mariucci really means nothing to me. If anything I hope it would lead to an overconfident gopher squad. If they meet again on neutral, non-olympic size rink with gaudreau in the lineup...minnesota still might be too much but I think it would be a very different game.

Other than that, bc can surely beat any other team out there. But some of those teams could beat bc.

Mcgrad I'll still take gravallese over benedetto and bunyon

Let's say grav gets HE title game. Is there a newer ref out there people think should start getting big games over tweedle dee and tweedle dumb? It would sure be refreshing...

Mookie it's not hard...bc just isn't as good as in recent years but outside of maybe minny, nobody scares me.

I think the even bigger issue vs MN was that you had both Alber and Macleod out and Jeke was only playing in his second game I believe. I'd still give MN the edge on neutral ice against a full BC squad, but BC can definitely keep up with them.

What 4 FR on D, on the olympic sheet, no Johnny was too much. Would be a different game if we met in Pittsburgh.

Going to be a great race for 1st & home ice in HE.

This is most likely said every year, but looking at UMass currently in 7th...should be a wild QF round.

I'm relatively new to these forums, and I never post anything, but their thread has been exceptionally comical this week. At least from a BC perspective.

BC, in what they must feel is their own version of 'infinite wisdom,' has decided to charge $10 per MONTH for the privilege of listening to the games on-line. Gone is the free streaming audio, it seems. Gone, also, will be 90% of the people who listened to the insufferable Jon Meatpuppet shriek about the wonders of Hair Club for Men during football season.

And, no, don't bludgeon me with the line, "Practically every big-time college is doing this." BC's sports program--aside from hockey--is decidedly NOT 'big-time.' We can thank boorish Gene DeFilippo for that.

BC's iOS app has live video and audio for home games @ $4.99/mo. or $19.99/season. Not sure why there's a new $10 charge just for audio on the regular site. Doesn't make much sense.
