Upon further inspection this exhibition game against New Brunswick was announced on a June 29th press release on the NB site. Why all the secrecy on BC's part? It is not any conflict with Football or Basketball(they don't even start until November). It is not giving away any of the regular season schedule and it is less than 7 weeks away. The fans deserve better. With road games first against Wisconsin and Quinnipiac and the first home game not until October 26 against St. Cloud the interest in this exhibition game will be the most anticipated one in years. http://varsityreds.ca/sports/mice/2018-19/releases/18-19exhibitionschedule

I personally don't care about announcing an exhibition game. Last couple have been at Bruins practice facility anyway. Would be nice to see the full schedule but BC is always late with that. Wonder if the number of teams that use Conte is a factor there. Could be tougher to lock down certain games and times.

BC is the only school yet to release it's schedule. However with everyone else doing so the full schedule can easily be deciphered. It has been known for a couple of weeks when Providence and UConn released theirs divulging the last few games. Only a few game times and perhaps a switch in dates from a day earlier or a day later due to basketball conflicts is what remains. Blame it on the ACC as is the case every year!!!

LWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW fixed it, New Brunswick is far too old and will have played several games before that day BC gets together for the first time with Jerry.

Hockey East has the BC schedule up now with no differences from what we have seen on the schedules thread. However there are few game time starts to note: Game at Notre Dame on New Years Eve is 5:05 PM, Exhibition with New Brunswick is 7pm and the Beanpot opener against Harvard is the 5:00 early game. Still not officially released which is very strange as Hockey East has it including the exhibition. http://www.hockeyeastonline.com/men/bc/sched19.php

Christ, the home opener against St. Cloud isn't even on a Friday? Thursday night? What are we doing here?

You play Maine on a Thursday night as well. Maine’s one home game against UNH is the Monday after that. It makes no sense at all.

The St Cloud game is Thursday because BC football is at home Friday night. The Maine game is Thursday because BC plays Providence Saturday and Providence does not play Friday night therefore if BC played Maine on Friday it would give an unfair advantage to Providence.

That makes sense. Still a shame they couldn’t find space somewhere in the schedule to play the game on a weekend night. Traffic is so bad around here that it will be tough for many working folks to get there.

They couldn’t play Saturday or Sunday of that weekend?

SCSU is playing NU Saturday. NU has a road conference game Friday so they couldn't have done a straight swap. I guess Sunday would have worked but SCSU probably wanted to get home and start getting ready for conference games
