i dont think you would feel it was arrogant if BU did that before BC did it and honestly, i wouldn't think it was arrogant at all even if BU did it first. It's part of the history of your program,and i think it's pretty cool actually

Women's team is currently taking care of business at home vs. UNH 2-0 btw.

good..........my niece a UNH student did not do her job and get my tickets :mad: so i am just going to pony up the $8 or what ever it is to pay on the UNH web site.........not sure about any other feeds

Blech... it's $10 to watch online. That's outrageous.

And the women's team wrecked UNH 5-0. Nice.

best thing out of that game was the performance of Milner.........UNH did manage 40 shots including 20 in the second period. all in all, i'm very satisfied with the 3-1 start. lots to work on but a lot of talent to do that work. I'm really feeling positive about this team

BC is looking good so far...'They Are Who We Thought They'd Be.'...but two early-season HE surprises: UP--->Providence; DOWN--->UNH. What's going on with these two?

for sure, is this finally UNH's down year? there are good recruits on the way but you have to feel Umile will right the ship and Providence? who isn't happy for them with their start?

All told I can't complain about BC's weekend. Losing essentially a 1 goal game to Denver is nothing to be ashamed about. I was very impressed with Denver's positioning and team defense. They are obviously well coached. And Zucker was dynamite. Very encouraging to see BC bounce back the very next night by going to the Whitt and dropping a five spot. 3-1 against the schedule they've played so far? I'll gladly take it.

Billett against UMass and milner against NU? Anyone close to the team know how they feel about billett right now in regard to playing time?

i cant see a reason why they shouldnt be all over him. my completely uninformed guess is he lands there.

I'm still torn on this. 6 months ago I would have taken 3-1 for sure.

But trying to be fair, MSU has a new coach and isn't that great and just got swept at LSSU (west). ND has looked fairly average over all 4 of their games. UNH is obviously terrible. And Denver... not sure about them after last night and aside from cashing in on a few mistakes vs. BC and playing well positionally they weren't awesome this weekend either.

We'll have to wait and see what these teams do down the road but right now the 3-1 record looks to be a minimum of what BC should have had knowing what these teams are two weeks into the season.

Completely agree. Three of the four games were on the road, all four games were played against very competitive teams and it's the first two weekends of the year. 3-1 is all anyone could ask for with this schedule, scoring at least 5 goals in three of the four games is beyond expectations offensively. I have particularly liked their compete level so far.

BC had some question marks coming into the year too, so I'll definitely take 3-1 given the only home game of the four was against Denver. Time to really make some hay in Hockey East...

Milner off to a good start and a balanced attack bode well going forward.

BTW, York's comments on Milner in the Globe were rather strong in that I think he took the opportunity to really pump him up and deliver a confidence boost. Letting Milner know he can do it at this level.

Nice to see that when the team struggles a bit we have a solid backstop like Milner in net. Your going to have those games once in a while and you need a solid goalie to step up. Having watched all the games thus far this season team is progressing. PP still needs a lot of work and I would expect to see some changes soon. This is going to be a fun team too watch. Two solid lines and a third trying to find some chemistry. Still early. Nice to see another freshman (Spiro) get some time last night. I like the way our other freshman are progressing. Gadreau was solid again and the kid Linell can flat out fly.

Don't like the triangle in the front breaking up the stripes. I agree the letters on the names should be bigger. Good start at 3-1 though.

Anyone attend the UNH game? Watch online? Wasn't a big fan of Carey playing the point on the PP against DU...did that continue? I just don't think that's putting him in the best position to succeed, but maybe others disagree.

If BU puts 5 stars on the back of their jerseys people will think it is the number of glasses of Jim Beam that Parker has had to drink before the game.

Or the number of guys Parker kicked off the team in the past 2 years.
