makes sense to me but beggars can't be choosy about who will call the games i guess. Eagle fans have to be just thrilled and on 98.5 no less which has had its ratings grow leaps and bounds. this might have been worth waiting for

Obviously eei and sportshub don't get along so that would clearly rule him out. But his actual role with the red sox broadcasts otherwise wouldn't conflict at all I would think.
Wiki says he does pre and post shows and is the backup to Dave obrien as the play by play
Anyway glad they are back on radio and I hope the new guy does well. He have hodge there who is ok (and hilarious in games reffed by hache)

Seriously? Who created this barrell attracting all these fish? How did it happen? Just good fortune? No, it happened by out recruting other programs for their first National Championship, then not relenting and going out the next year and out recruiting their competitors again. After a while, yes it does get easier, but the power of the program was established by superior recruiting. And they went all over North America to get these players. Did Chuck Kobasew dream of going to BC? What about Gionta? and Gerbe?, and all the other players who are not from the area and were sold on the program? Were they fish in a barrell?
What's your problem with giving credit where credit is most certainly due? The program was in shambles and an embarrassment when Jerry was hired. Not too many local kids were dreaming of going to BC in the mid to late 90's. Where they are now has nothing to do with their recruiting talents, you are probably right.

Right, I remember him doing games despite his Sox job. I believe the new guy, Ryan Johnston, did some Bruins games on radio last year filling in for Dave Goucher. Think he also has a weekend gig on the Sports Hub.
They should make DB Felger promote these games.

I believe DA starts up at 6 now that the Baseball Reporters is no longer (as the Sox are out). So, he was on with DA during the "Hockey Show". The hockey show is every Wednesday during Bruins season. They also announced York will join them EVERY Wednesday.

what was the college hockey channel that used to be on a smaller local channel also on wednesday's?
i could barely hear it with all the static.........some weeks they would only focus on D2 or even D3 but it was really good. i think 2 hours from 5-7...........and i think AM up around 1100 on the dial, anyone ever hear this? i wasn't able to find it the past couple of years so i think it isn't aired any longer........

Really looking forward to this game... hope it isn't a fog out.
DU has an awful lot of fire power up front. Curious to see how the team D holds up.
Personally, I think we'll see a shootout and the last team to score wins.
