he got banned for bad behavior in the world juniors thread.. something about a ****ing match about whose sources were going to be more right.

oh well, i wonder if it will stick this time or if they'll give him another repreive?.......i guess he just couldn't help himself. i actually thought the new and improved version was working. he seemed to actually be trying to not get into it with posters

It wasn't for that. I didn't catch all the posts that got deleted in that thread (there was almost a whole page of them), but it sounded like he and a couple other posters got into a personal attack war. There were a few others banned or suspended for that thread, too.

He's a real gem. I got the same negative reputation insult from Manny212 as I did from Hokydope before he got banned so he might reappear soon with the alias Manny212.

Owwwww....bad move. North Conway, lately for me, is nuthin more than a giant traffic jam. Pay heed. :)

Dress warm, that arena was pretty cold during the tournament last year.

if you get stuck in that settlers green outlet mall:( set back on the northbound side there is a pizza/sandwich place(bramanti's i think) that sells beer :D but you have to eat something too. its not a pub at all but you can at least say you are in the mall and she'll think your buying her something and while she gleefully spends money  you'll have a few cold ones so it won't seem so bad;)

check out Moat Mountain Smokehouse and Brewing Co in North Conway if you get a chance.
:) Thanks for all the cool advice folks, but it turns out we're not going to No. Conway, but to Bretton Woods. We're staying at the Mt Washington Hotel (which I thought was in No. Conway ) and the heck with traffic... I'm gettin' us one of those spa treatment thingies so we won't be driving anywhere. :D
boblavs advice is still good though.

But speakin' of No. Conway, we were there a few years ago. The wifey got us a condo at Attitash for our anniversary, so we spent some time in N. Conway. Much busier place than I remember as a young, avid skier (just a couple of years ago ;)), but acs... you want traffic... try Cape Cod in July, or the Boston commute from the South Shore any Monday-Friday  (which, thank the Lord, I do very little of). North Conway ain't got no traffic. :p :D

Well, that was a great weekend, and the day we were in N. Conway was the first day of Moose hunting season. As we turned onto the Kangamangus Hwy towards the end of the day, a pick truck was pulling into the weigh station with a big azz moose in the back. We followed him in and watched the whole weigh-in. Took a bunch of pictures. I think the wardens and hunters thought we were with National Geo or something. ;) :D

Re: Boston College 2010-2011 In-Season Thread: Long Live The "Eagle" Empire!

Do we know if Cross and K. Hayes are definitely back for these games? Looking at past combinations, etc. the lineup wouldn't change all that much IMO:

J. Whitney-Gibbons-C. Atkinson
K. Hayes-Mullane-J. Hayes
Carey-Arnold-S. Whitney
Almeida-Brown-T. Atkinson

Cross-Alber
Samuelsson-Shea
MacLeod

**The most obvious guy to move back to D would be Joe Whitney. Personally, I'd try to get by in these games by rotating five d and dressing Dyroff because you can as an insurance policy.

who knows? maybe some of the guys close to the players or coaches can tell us. Do other schools give out info on injuries i wonder? BC never does and i think they should. they did post who made the US team already but there's never a mention of injuries other than when they first happen..........

Didn't Tommy Atkinson play D last Denver tourney? I'll have to check the stats if so, then give Dyroff another chance to play.

Edit: Report on EA that both Cross & Kevin Hayes are good to go.

Agreed. And to think, Coach York usually has BC playing its best hockey of the year in March. To think this team hasn't peaked (after the Maine and BU series') is scary.
