i can't wait to get my hands on one and he WAS on campus last night for the jam in conte so, thankfully he's outta there now and won't soil our event

Here's an email I sent to my friend recapping it:
Ok so Ice Jam was last night and I thought it was excellent.
They way it worked is they introduced “The Legend of Ice Jam” you can find that video somewhere online which was cheesy but whatever.
Then they introduced each team with a video around campus being late for Ice Jam (hockey was by far the best, Tommy is sleeping in his jersey and his alarm goes off, he starts nudging someone under the covers & it’s Joe Whitney who proceeds to grab a cookie and eat it).
After a team’s video they introduced each player and then the coach. Bob Costas interviewed each coach. Then the team did something: girls bball had a dance off vs. some dance group, girls hockey talked about their Olympic medals, I forget what men’s hockey did and then men’s basketball pretended to rap and then Vanilla Ice emerged.
They had some skill competitions. Girls & guys hockey had hardest shot (won by Cross at 98) and a trick shot (won by Almeida or Joe Whitney). Girls & guys basketball had a 3 point shootout won by some new guy and it ended with a dunk contest won by Reggie who jumped over Southern.
They talked to Dudley & Gionta asking them questions about BC it was great because Gionta would give a couple of words and Dudley would talk for 5 minutes.
Jerry was got a standing O from the crowd when introduced Donahue got some (including myself) standing. Thank God GDF wasn’t introduced because my brother & I would have booed. Overall very well done, about 5000 people there which is excellent I think.

Just recovering from a nasty cold/flu here and had to miss this last night (God only knows what else hokydad's wife gave me but she was cheap!! ).
Tell me, was Napoleon Gene out and about last night shaking hands, smiling, kissing babies, and grabbing Bob Costas' azz? Or was too afraid of getting punched in the face by a fan for his pathetic last 2 football hires and his constant meddling with the football program that has turned off all viable candidates for the HC football position?

Not only that Gene has turned off many fans. I may never go back to a BC football game until they make changes. It's too bad the players lose the support of diehard fans like myself.

I think Joe and Tommy were popping their mouthguards in, not cookies. Cross won with 99 mph.

I didn't really shoot the basketball, included a couple of shots of Flutie and two shots of the kid that jumped over his teammate in the slam dunk because I have to admit that was cool.
