With all this talk about Union, they must be a heck of a lot better team than they were last year. Saw them in Tampa and they didn't strike the fear of God into me. Sterlippo will be happy... they're slower than us. ;)

OK boy's... just go out and play Boston College hockey for 120 minutes and I'll see you in Pittsburgh. :)

OK, BC fans, buy up the tickets for Providence. Got an email from BC ticket office that they're selling tickets for the regional.

Hopefully, they're good seats or should I buy through the Dunkin Doughnut Center?

Hockey east had a winning record against the ecac and bu/pc are both better than any ecac team that didn't make the tourney

A couple other things...why worry about who makes the FF from other regions? You worry about that if you make it. Furthermore, there is no western team that's unbeatable. Anyway, I fully expect bc to have a tough game against union. They did beat uml last year to go to tampa and this bc team isn't head and shoulders above that lowell team.

That being said, yes, this is the best possible bracket for bc...but maybe union feels the same way. I do think that the winner of this game will win the next day.

Claver, so now linell is at forward which we want...but still no jeke? I just don't get it.

As I've been saying, any team out there is licking their chops with BC on the menu. They can get big media attention by knocking off the defending champ and get an easy team to play against. Union is happy.

This is truly the worst bracket in the history of the NCAA tournament. BC's worst team in 15 years, Canisius, two ECAC teams. Still a good chance BC goes 1 and done here.

Linell back to offense is good. Linell back to being on a line with Gaudreau is bad. Why don't we just bench our good 4 forwards and play Polischuk in net for this game while we're at it.

Neither do I but Jerry said they'll simply be rolling 5 D so it's not like someone else will be seeing time over him.

I just don't get the refusal to put Jeke out there over Linell at D or Sullivan at F. He was impressive when I saw him and he brings an edge/physicality to the blueline, something this team once again desperately needs.

I have to agree here about Jeke. Some people say he's awful but I don't see it. I'd rather see Linell at a forward spot and Jeke's size is needed. Just got my tickets and 2nd row from the glass. I'm all set for the Easter Weekend.

Jeke has some size, he hits people, and he has some offensive flair to his game. Really I hope he was hurt or suspended on some hush hush situation, because it scares me to see this staff making these lineup moves.

Oh BTW, Ray, I ran into your brother this weekend in Wilmington. Small world. Nice guy.

if anyone comes across or can find info on any BC gatherings (official or unofficial)...please pass that info along here! also, does anyone know what the designated BC section(s) are? i'll be heading down saturday with four others...

the one good thing about this game being at 9 is that i believe the potential west final between minny and und is on espnu at the same time as canisius-quinnipiac. would much rather watch that game at a bar in providence than attend the first game.
