Re: Big Ten > NCHC

Well of course if someone wanted to research B1G hockey stats there's no better source than the Whioux hockey forum and ya gotta love a fan of Vermont hockey throwing shade in any direction.

I'm originally from Pennsylvania and grew up a Pitt fan, so I gotta get my shots at Penn State in somehow lol

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

And a losing record against the NCHC.

So what? That doesn't erase the fact that they have a better overall record vs. all conferences than any other conference, including the holier than thou NCHC. So stop deflecting and eat your crow already.

The coach of the team leading the conference is by far our preferred candidate to take over this summer. Hope SCSU is ready for a battle to keep him.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

Top 13 KRACH right now:

B1G: 4 teams
NCHC: 4 teams
ECAC: 2 teams
HE: 2 teams
WCHA: 1 team

Umm...no.

Top 13 KRACH right now:
NCHC: 5 teams (SCSU (#1), Denver (#3), North Dakota (#6), Western Michigan (#9), Miami (#12))
B1G: 4 teams (Notre Dame (#2), Ohio State (#7), Minnesota (#10), Penn State (#11))
ECAC: 2 teams (Clarkson (#4), Cornell (#5))
WCHA: 1 team (Minnesota State (#8))
Hockey East: 1 team (Providence (#13))

All the NCHC teams are in the Top 17. Pretty impressive...although we're not really even half way through, and all that really matters is what happens come March/April.

The coach of the team leading the conference is by far our preferred candidate....

Speak for yourself. He's a great coach but at 56 (at least 57 before being able to take over at Minnesota) that's too old to be their next legacy coach.

Re: Big Ten > NCHC

I used to post there but quit about a year and a half ago. Handy hasn’t posted there in years either. Telling when the two top posters there stop.
