I really feel it is time for the non-Trumpettes to start playing hardball. Call the idiots out whenever they spew. Challenge their “facts.“
If they walk the streets with guns, do the same. Let them see the 2nd amendment in action. They are not going to like seeing “those that don’t look like us” carrying. Some will say that would result in deaths, well, so is the lack of masking up.
I am at a car dealership for service as I write this with a trumpette sitting across from me, watching some right wing propaganda on his phone, volume up loud, no mask on. (only one). Through eye contact alone, for now, he has received my message: Respect my space or else. Any private property, kick them out if they don’t follow the rules. Forcefully and swiftly.

That explains the recent "Biden wants to abolish the suburbs!" attack Trump's pivoted to.
It's not the people holding the torches and pitchforks we want to learn from or match tactics with; they are stupid pawns. It's the people who incite them--media manipulators like Scaife, Ailes and Murdoch.
Right now, the people Ds can learn most from, as far as narrative tactics are concerned, is the Lincoln Group. They are good at what they do, and as soon as this election passes, Ds will be in their cross hairs.
If Ds can dump the dump this fall, and if the disastrous economic effect of a worsening pandemic continues to grow, it seems Ds are in a great position to focus on the economic impact of this pandemic as much as the personal health impact. They can push the narrative that, while dump was a huge mistake, i was the R Party's willingness to enable and support him that is the root cause of our economic problems, which 4 years from now will likely be very serious. They knowingly spread lies to avoid meeting the problem head on. They took care of themselves politically while the country burned. We know dump didn't care, but it's clear they didn't either. There will always be crooks and con artists like trump out there, but the D party would never give one the keys to the home like the Rs did.

All I needed to see was the conversion of the religious right into trumpettes. That convinced me that anything is possible. The Dems fumbled an impeachment investigation that was served up nicely on a platter but then went spineless.
It has become an “either or” situation. The pawns don’t care or know about the Lincoln project or who controls fox. Bullying their way into Walmart, unmasked, is what they know. That needs to be met heavy handed, lessons taught. It’s way past the point for educating of the mindless. They know action only, so let them see it. In my neck of the woods in rural Maine where it is a 2 to 1 trump-land margin, trump2020 signs litter the landscape but not a Biden sign to be found. Terrible.

How did they fumble up the Impeachment? He was impeached. No matter what evidence they had he was never going to be removed. No offense but you are kind of babbling and making little sense here...

They didn't play hardball enough with demanding called witnesses appear for starters. I'm not going to argue it much because its past but they could have done more to expose his corrupt tenure even more than they did. On a separate matter they didn't demand more from Mueller who imho half-arsed his investigation as well as his conclusions.

Almost all of that requires the Democrats to have held the United States Senate in 2019. The Kavanaugh vote on witnesses in 2018 for the Supreme Court was a sneak preview on how any impeachment with a Republican Senate was going to end. Impeaching Trump needed to be done, but everyone should have known where McConnell was going to take it to.

What would have been the point? The Senate was never going to convict nor was it going to call any witnesses. Sorry but that is bullshit.
If the Dems had done all that nothing changes and they probably just end up looking worse for it anyways.

I don't agree with this. It would have gotten even more information into the public record. That is important. Not everything is purely tactical, and predictions of how tactics work out are frequently wrong.
