Biden v Dump 1: If not now, when? If not us, who?

Lutz has been saying for a while Trump is framing things all wrong. (especially "Law and Order" IIRC) Now Lutz deserves to burn because his BS games are what brought about the Dubya Debacle but he knows his stuff.

It is becoming quite obvious that Biden is the guy who people want not because he is ever the best candidate, but because he will just calm things down for a bit. He is just not the guy people are going to hate no matter how hard the Bots try. He isnt very remarkable but he also wont drink gasoline and **** on a brushfire just for the lulz. He wont be up at 4am tweeting hoping to get on MSNBC. He will do his job and try not to screw everything up.

Trump is like Steven A. Smith. He is loud, obnoxious, and after about the 3rd time you see him you can't stand him anymore even if you like him. Biden is like Scott Van Pelt or John Buccigross. They arent exactly great at their job but they do it above average to good and consistently better to watch. They wont wow you (yeah yeah Bucci loves College Hockey but he really kind of stinks when he calls a game) but they get the job done.

edit: Kep, you may not like the Mooch but since the day he left he has been giving the Dems the playbook on how to beat Trump. And boy does he get under Trump's skin.

See also: Kristol, Erickson, Schmidt. Even Steele, who I have a measure of respect and liking for. They played with matches for decades. They don't get to pretend they are firefighters now.

And Hillary was Milbury.

One prime opportunity for Biden to go on offense, which he whiffed on, was the tax returns question. After asking Trump twice about his returns, and getting the usual "you'll see them when they're done" deflection from him, Biden should've pushed further and said, "You won't show them because you're afraid of what's in them." That would've sent Trump even further over the edge, but Joe didn't do it.

I don’t understand why no one calls out the fact that being under audit does not stop one from being able to release the returns. The IRS confirmed it, yet everyone still let’s him use that excuse.

All Biden had to say was “the audit is not stopping you. You’ve been told that. We all know that. Now why won’t you?”

Conservative Twitter is not having a fun day. Besides the Bots getting nowhere despite Moscow trying so VERY hard they have now decided that Joe was "wired up" and his pen was a microphone which is why he was able to crush Trump. That alone would sound stupid but they are saying the thing on his wrist was the the wire. The thing on his wrist is the rosary he wears for his late son.

That is right, the Catholic in Name in Only wears a rosary on his person and the people who consider themselves religious zealots cant even identify them.

I'm surprised they didn't try to make hay out of the nose scratch. Remember when Hillary did that, and it was supposedly a signal to the moderators to bail her out? LMAO.

I think this is simply Joe being a lifetime politician... He's been doing Olympic Boxing, not brawling behind some country bar that serves FUDD. Completely different worlds and goes against everything Joe has probably had to teach himself over the past 30+ years...

anecdote 1,298: I spoke to a couple of Trumpies this morning who watched the debate and were terribly disappointed in Trump's lack of coherence (I think before, they've been absorbing Fox spin on his thoughts rather than trying to listen to the pile himself). They are both "giving up on politics" since "these two are the best we can do." Based on this thorough research, I'm hoping that Trump's public debate flameout will drive down his turnout and enthusiasm among lukewarm and uninformed "R" automatons.

I'm curious about Biden's use of "inshallah", whether it was a weird Islam troll on Trump or a habit he picked up somewhere. I have a cousin who is a Green Beret, he picked it up in Afghanistan and says it all the time out of habit.

It's just still very amusing that it takes until now for them to come to those conclusions.
