Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

I thought it was a very good game, even though the Beavers lost:mad: but very hard faught game by both teams. I wish WCHA refs could have a little more consistency. Lets Get a BEAVER WIN Tomorrow!!!

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

So what does this say about nepotism? We are going to change the accountability of all officials because daddy doesn't want his kids given the f-bomb by the gopher fans for all his botched calls?

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Very good game. BSU is a quality team, but the Gophs had, I thought, their best game of the year so far. Quality support by the Beaver faithful too.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

If you hate this crew, be prepared for season-long ***** fests...

That poster is full of crap. Don't mind him.;)

From what I hear, it basically was just following the NHL's lead, which college hockey sometimes does.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Now wait... that is not a post full of crap. If an official is found to be consistently making bad calls and yet is given breaks that other officials aren't because of his dad. That is nepotism. Maybe they did change the uniforms because of an NHL precedent, but that doesn't excuse nepotism.

What I would like to know is where is the accountability for Shepard? All other officials are held to a standard. Is the standard compromised because of the high pressure of an upcoming Thanksgiving dinner?

It's the wcha, the standard is set **** low. I don't mean to sound like a *******, but if you're going to play there, know that's the case and get used to it. :p

So you're saying that Anderson, Campion, Thul, etc are not bad refs?

Anderson is consistently ripped, for example.

I'm just saying that tinfoil hats may be involved in this particular "connection" of the changing of the unis.

now that I can understand. thanks.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

That was a fun game to be at. Two bad goals late in the third sealed it. I thought they matched up pretty well five on five.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Just be thankful mason doesn't still ref in the wcha... I probably would have slit my wrists if I had to watch another of his games...

Edit: I just checked, he's still in the wcha... Well, better put me on suicide watch.

Fun game, and I think BSU just tired out, or the momentum from that long PK did them in.

They won't be a bottom-dweller in the WCHA next year, but as of right now, I can't see them getting home-ice. Not a knock intended, but stating a neutral view here.

Re: Bemidji @ Minnesota - Rodents, Rodents, Everywhere

Attendance was 10,198 tonight...Not far off the all-time record of 10,587....

That really surprises me. I expected around 9K or so, given that it's hunting season, and it's not a "big" team/rivalry.

They are ready for the WCHA but I agree as of today they are not a top five WCHA team.

I mentioned ABC hockey/WI before, and the more I think about it, and judging from the games I've seen from BSU in the last year (the series against UAH in Bemidji last year, the F4 run, and tonight) keeps strengthening that opinion.

Yeah...Me too...I know Bemidji's attendance takes a big hit during hunting season. I heard they used to try to not schedule home games on the opener especially. How are they doing the playoffs next season? Did they ever announce that?

It is not that, they are NOT bad refs.... it is that fact that Shephard's call are SO F%%%ING BAD and come at such key times of the game....... he puts the "******" in ****** bag......
