BU played a much better game after seeing her go off for the game misconduct though. Shots evened up a bit, and they had their best chances, even grabbing a goal. 4-1 Huskies.

Northeastern uses a timeout after giving up two quick goals. What a game, it's 4-3.

The Huskies seemed to break on that 5 min. major. They did little with the puck on the PP and BU even had a few chances. After BU got the goal, they ended the second with a few chances. Then they just jumped all over Northeastern for the first minute. Huskies started pushing the play, but then BU grabbed the GTG. Thought Huskies played better out of their timeout though.
BU just took their timeout to rest after an icing btw.

See they had it all along, they just wanted to make it more exciting for you.OMG Rachel Llanes is officially my new hero. HOW MANY TIMES IN THE SHOOTOUT HAS SHE BEEN CLUTCH?!?! Wolfie too of course.

Beanpot games decided by shootout now? I don't like that at all. When was that change made? Or is it only true for the semis? Maybe it makes more sense for the semis, otherwise everyone would be there all night. What are they doing in the men's Beanpot?
I've seen too many awesome late overtime game-winners in the Beanpot to have games come down to a shootout after 5 minutes (see Botterill 1999-2001, 2002: current NU coach McAuliffe for Harvard against NU)
Also it would seem to be an advantage for the three teams from the league that uses shootouts in conference play.
