Czechs kill the powerplay. USA has now spent 11 of the first 22 minutes on the powerplay...and are tied 1-1.

Campbell covers up the puck, and the Czechs are really starting to turn it on since the end of that powerplay.

The USA looks lethargic...almost like they're not interested. They need a kick in the ***** to kick em going.
 
This tournament makes me hate Canada more and more every year. The fact that they booed the penalty on forbort when his head got smashed into the glass as well as the penalty on Rau when he took a stick to the face that drew blood is completely uncalled for and classless.

Sometimes I feel like they get more pleasure in seeing the USA fail rather then them winning.

Agreed. It's weird. The US was flying early in the 1st, and then they've just died down after the Czechs got the tying goal.

I agree...Its a cool place to visit...and the people are usually cool (except the french)...but put them in a hockey arena and they are the most classless and utterly clueless people.

Perhaps. I think Bjugstad has played with a fire under his *** when he's been out on the ice, and Etem has played with a lot of fire as well. Hopefully those two inspire their teammates in the last half of this one.

Penalty is over and the USA (Bjugstad's line) is mounting pressure.

Lucky the czech's haven't taken the lead yet.

After two cZech chances we blow the 3 on 1 with zucker's pass just out of the reach of bjugstad? I think. Golden opportunity blown there.
