Annoying Commercials 2: Searching for the MUTE button

Terry Tate sold Reebok.

The secondary awards for Sunday's game:

Humor: Talkin' Like Walken
Inspirational/Heartwarming: Perfect 10
Cameo(s): DunKings
Rookie: Michael CeraVe

If you don't want to be called "B-M-O", maybe don't have it on every piece of material relating to your country. It's not our fault for reading what is right in front of us.

As someone with the Disney Bundle I appreciate that the same ad for the Disney Bundle airs every single commercial break during the hockey tournament.

It's hilarious when they advertise ESPN+ before, during and after every show on ESPN+. The very fact that we can see the commercial means you really don't have to advertise it...

I watch MTV Classic while I'm using the fitness center in my apartment.

While I'm thrilled to see music videos, the commercials for apps that spot you $250 and shady credit repair are concerning.

These Amazon commercials that try to paint the company as an altruistic creator of opportunities for jobs, insurance benefits, and career advancement.

The Turk and JD T-Mobile commercial was a cool reunion moment during the Super Bowl, but the expanded campaign has reached annoying status. But maybe it's just overexposure since it seems like T-Mobile has bought every commercial break for every sporting event.

Amazon has unlimited money and they only came up with two ads for the holidays. 'Annoying Face "whoo!"' and 'Staff Buys Janitor Suit Coat So He Can Sing on Stage'.

That's Alison Brie??

I see certain companies have released their Super Bowl ads. The Ben Affleck/Casey Affleck/Jeremy Strong Dunkins commercial was released - it's funny. But why release commercials? Do they think people won't be watching the game? Because many people watch the game to watch the commercials and if they're released before the game, there's no reason to watch.

They've done this the past couple of years. Even put them up on YouTube. I thought the same thing you do, but I wonder if by doing this, they actually get more of a reach since people have more of an avenue to watch them, especially those who won't or never bother watching the game but still will check out the commercials because they hear so much about them. I'm sure the companies have stats to see how that strategy goes.
