Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Ouch! That about sums up DU and the Gophers night (from what I read on the score thread). Huskies will come in and bludgeon the Pios next weekend if we show up with that same stuff.

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

May not be so bad to have gotten a game like that out of the system before SCSU. Let's not be too quick to forget this team is 7-1-4 in the last 12 games.

Of course, this optimism is predicated on the assumption that one game was enough to shake out the cobwebs...

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Zucker with his second goal in as many games after being recalled by the Wild. Looks real good. Cripes he's fast.

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Make sure everyone watches the final episode of 24/7 on HBO as it features a lot of Bozie. It debuted last night.

Follow up on the WJC:
The United States of hockey overview: Later this week Chris Peters will look at the individual players.
The U.S. National Junior Team this year fell short, but there were some serious positives to take out of the tournament as well. The 18-year-olds that will be back next year, particularly Hudson Fasching, Steven Santini and Will Butcher, and 17-year-old Jack Eichel were exceptional in the tournament.

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Beautiful sunny day in NYC; 5 degrees with wind chill of -16, was 55 degrees 24 hours ago.

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Sunny and 61 here. It'll get up to 68 this afternoon.

Some areas in the snowbelts of Upstate New York especially northeast of Syracuse are expected to get 2 to 6 feet by Wednesday. Buffalo is expected to get 2 to 3 feet today. The water in the Great Lakes is much warmer than the air temperature creating huge lake effect snows.

Re: All Things Denver XXXVII

Some good news! I earned and received a season photography credential from DU for the rest of the season. I am planning on shooting both games this weekend, so hopefully I will have get some good shots to share with everyone.
