Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Chambers reporting Brittain, Ryder and D. Shore all ready to play this weekend. Makowski, Bennett and Larraza are out with injuries. Makowski likely back for CC, Bennett out until sometime next month and Larraza appeared to get a concussion in the last game against BSU. No word on him.

Makowski "might" be back for CC. Since they thought he "might" be back last week and then this week, I'd take that as 50-50 at best.

Don't think Chevy will be back for UAA games:p But getting Brittain back is huge. If he is the backup who starts--Adam or Jussi? Or do we go with 11 forwards, 6 on D and 3 goalies?

Oops :o

I doubt DU will take 3 goalies on the road but you never know. I think Adam plays Friday and Sam gets Saturday. Just my opinion with no info to back it up. I think the points this weekend are too important to be short a player at the forward position.

BTW I did check and Chevy is still with Portland. Been the backup goalie for 2 games, but hasn't played.

Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Why is nobody answering my question about Feb 17? Vizaroo - will you come to Wisconsin and represent with me? :D I've never been to Kohl Center. Do they take kohl's Cash??? Should be a fun weekend. If anyone's going, lets meet up

Here's some good news:
@PSBJoyOnTheSens Joy Lindsay
Coach Kleinendorst says he expects Patrick Wiercioch to play one of the #BSens' games next weekend. Great news. #Sens

Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Last night Rakhshani was 3rd star with 2 assists and Donovan had a goal and an assist in the Sound Tigers shoot out loss which broke their 8 game winning streak.

Re: All Things Denver XXXII

About to head to the airport so I can fly to Alaska and root on the boys to a couple victories this weekend. Shouldn't be too bad, after all the high today is -2.

Re: All Things Denver XXXII

From Twitter: Larkin Jacobson is making the trip to Alaska, but Zac Larraza has a "conky" and will be staying in Denver.

Ryder and Brittain back with Sam likely to dress as back-up one night and play another. DU took 3 goalies on the trip and one spare forward. Only 2 goalies can dress on the road. Chambers with all the details in the article below.

Per the Elite Prospects website, Brett Skinner has been loaned to Modo of the Swedish League from Tappara of the Finnish League where he had played 7 games. He started the season with the Iserlohn Roosters in the German League where he played 25 games. Last season he played with Amur Khabarovsk in the KHL in Russia. The stamps on his passport must be filling up. ;)

Also Andy Thomas sent back to Trenton from Binghamton.

Think taking all 3 goalies is a good idea. Which Shore plays with Zucker tonite?

With Murray and Sam both just coming off injuries, it does make sense especially since Sam was only cleared for full practice last Monday. If it were a home series all 3 would be dressing. I think Gwoz may stay with the lines he ran out against BSU on Friday before D. Shore got hurt but you never know.
