Re: All Things Denver XXXII

Joe Scott's arrival wasn't exactly greeted with joy (especially around here) but it surely seems like he's doing something right. IIRC the only post season basketball for DU was when Hoyt Brawner got us into the NIT (back in the day when the NIT was a really big deal) and long before I showed up on campus in my Model A.

Is there still an alumni road trip planned for the Wisconsin weekend next month? I've not received any updates, and haven't seen any info about it anywhere. I bought my airfare today; is anyone else going?

Old Pio, UAA's Donald appears to be in USCHO Max for this weekend and Wiercioch is still not playing with that "alleged" throat injury, so please play nice this week so you and Donald won't have to be cellies.:D

I promise. As Chester A. Riley used to say: "What a revoltin' development." But seriously, how do we know this?

Now run along and go write something this week that you'll invalidate next week with another post; then take a completely different position the week after that. In other words .. keep being you; a least common denominator has it's uses.

OMG, will they ban me for repeating a banned comment:eek:

Matt Carle will be a free agent at the end of this season. Here is an interesting article about whether or not he stays with the Flyers where he is a top 4 d-man.

Interesting.

I believe he and the wife spend the off-season in Minnesota where she's from, so I'll guess the Wild may be the destination.
